Ophold alene

The hotel is tucked away in a peaceful alley, but still located close to the station, convenience stores and many shops. It was easy to make trips in and out of the hotel during the day. The staff were incredibly helpful, especially with forwarding my luggage, and the check-in/check-out process was easy. The room was small, but still comfortable. When I revisit Kyoto, I’d stay here again.

Excellent location and the perfect hotel for a 4 day stay in Kyoto! A stones throw away from the station and walking distance from downtown Kyoto! Will definately be staying here again!

Ophold alene

Super convenient and close to Shijo station plus a lot of bus lines. Didn't have to take more than one train or bus literally anywhere the entire stay which made traveling around Kyoto easy. Surrounded by great shopping and easy eats. Easy walk to Pontocho Alley and Kamo River. There's no on-site onsen but Ume-yu (tattoo friendly) wasn't far. I did use their wash which was fast and affordable and in classic Japanese style, the drier was lackluster. Would stay again.

Incredible location for doing seeing Kyoto. Our Room was very ok. staff was friendly and allowed us to drop off baggage before our check in time. I would stay here again if i wanted to be in the heart of Kyoto

The internet was a bit slow in the evening. The staff was very helpful; I asked for 2 umbrellas & they gave them right away. The towels were changed everyday, but that is it.

The location was perfectly close to restaurants, markets, and various stores. If you are coming to Osaka and wanted to stay for a few days, the location is roughly two minutes walk from the train station. The only downside is the hotel had only two laundry machines, so the wait time can be longer.

Really great location with train stations close by. Loads of great places to eat literally on the doorstep. A 711 across the road. Loved this area, felt like everywhere we wanted to go was a 10-25 min walk away. Room is small, but that was expected. Great shower pressure and really nice to have a bath too!
