Fantastisk
Amazing stay, staff was kind, rooms were spacious and cold (great for summer). Breakfast was great. Location was a quick walk to markets or the subway. Onsen was amazing as well!

Great hotel with trasitional japanese architecture in the most convenient neighborhood in Kyoto, close to the most vibrant neighborhoods but the hotel itself in a quiet street. Stafd was excellent

This hotel is excellent! The stuff was very friendly and they all speak very good English so don't worry! The hotel is super clean and tidy. The room is spacious and comfortable. The public spa and sauna are must-try. The location is great, near Gion area. It is also close to Gion festival.

Conveniently located near Kawaramachi street & Higashiyama district. The property was very nice with an onsen. Breakfast was great & staff were very friendly.

Our room was clean and very nice. The photos on Expedia doesn't do it justice. Plenty of amenities that includes 3 different complimentary drinks that get refilled daily, senbei snacks, and the usual toiletries and sleep wear. The onsite Onsen is simple, but clean and was never crowded. Close to all the shops, temples, many local restaurants, bakeries, and coffee shops. Great place to stay to get away from the noisy touristy areas, but close enough to go everywhere by foot.

Great location in a quiet neighborhood. Very friendly and attentive staff that did everything to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. Room well appointed and very comfortable. We loved the onsen experience and the opportunity to enjoy all the spa facilities.

This hotel is in a perfect location to be close to busy areas, yet still out of the way enough that you get a neighbourhood feel. The modern-Japanese style feels traditional whilst still providing all necessary amenities. The spa facilities are excellent with a sauna, onsen and cool plunge pool.

The hotel was close to so many of the shrines and temples. We walked or took a train everywhere!! We ate at Soya, which was right around the corner and it was amazing!!! Our favorite Bar - Bar Trench is across the street!
