Eryan Ping Trail

The Alishan tour departing from Taichung HSR Station was extremely smooth. After taking the high-speed rail, our driver-guide met us at the meeting point. Along the way, there were a few rest stops for restroom breaks or meals. We highly recommend our driver-guide, Xiao Xin. The mountain roads to Alishan are truly winding, which is why I had wanted to visit for a long time but never dared to drive myself. However, his driving skills are excellent; sitting in the very back of the 9-seater van, I didn't feel carsick at all. Best of all, we could sleep in the car and wake up right in Alishan—it was so comfortable! The scenery in Alishan is breathtaking, a must-visit destination in one's lifetime! The guide provided very detailed explanations of Alishan and shared many interesting stories. He also guided us along an easier, downhill walking route so we wouldn't feel too exhausted, and along the way, he helped take many wonderful photos. He even compiled them into a video and sent us the photos to keep as memories—he is truly dedicated! (As for sharing, the guide took some personal photos that I won't make public, so I'm posting the ones I took myself, some of which used photography techniques shared by the guide). On the return trip, perhaps to keep us from getting bored, the guide prepared some jokes, which made it a lot of fun 😆. The itinerary was well-planned, the guide was humorous and engaging, transportation was convenient, and it offered incredible value. I highly recommend everyone to check out this day tour!

The park is very large, and the staff are all very friendly. We only experienced feeding the sika deer (they gave us very few mulberry leaves). Sika deer number 031 will attack young children; it inexplicably charged over and bit my child on the chest. Parents, please be careful when bringing your children.

We had Stella as our driver and guide. she picked 5 of us up from Kaohsiung. she was very patient and sweet and we were traveling with one person whi is legally blind. I love that we got to see Alishan without the hassle of waiting for buses and trains. She took us on beautiful hikes to see the tea fields. we had the original bento lunch box at the old street. Overall a fun filled day for all of us!

Vi havde en fantastisk tid på 2-dages turen med Joanne! Hun er en utrolig imødekommende, vidende og fantastisk guide. Under hele turen delte hun spændende oplysninger om de steder, vi besøgte, samt andre nyttige indsigter, hvilket gjorde oplevelsen endnu mere fornøjelig. Udsigten var betagende, og køreturene var så sjove! Alt tilsammen skabte en uforglemmelig oplevelse. Kan varmt anbefale denne tur, især med Joanne som guide! 😊

Our tour guide, Max, was really awesome! He made sure we were comfortable throughout the trip and was always happy to help. He was friendly, attentive, and made the whole experience more enjoyable. We really appreciated how well he took care of everyone and made sure we had a great time. Highly recommend Max if you’re looking for a fun and comfortable tour experience!

This is the most hospitable place I have ever stayed. Transportation is convenient, just an 8-minute walk to the bus stop. Since it was my first time visiting Alishan, the receptionist kindly gave me a detailed guide on how to get around when I checked in. The room is simple with a cozy, homemade breakfast. You can walk to the sunrise viewing spot in just 5 minutes, and the lovely owner even gave us a personal introduction. Staying just one night is definitely not enough!
