War Remnants Museum ture

We visited the Independence Palace and War Remnants Museum with our guide Kevin. Both are fascinating and, in our view, must-sees in Ho Chi Minh City. The Independence Palace offers a fascinating insight into the Vietnam War, with its historic meeting and banquet rooms, communications rooms and underground bunker, as well as great views over the city. The War Remnants Museum, just a short walk away, is extremely powerful and visual, showing the devastating effects of war and the suffering and resistance of the Vietnamese people. Kevin was knowledgeable and flexible, allowing us time for drinks and snacks, which made the tour work very well even with a young child. Highly recommended.

We had a wonderful morning exploring Ho Chi Minh City with our guide, Penny. She was warm, knowledgeable, and made the tour both enjoyable and informative. We visited the Saigon Central Post Office, Independence Palace, and the War Remnants Museum. Penny shared fascinating insights into the history and culture of each site, making the experience even more meaningful. Unfortunately, the Notre Dame Cathedral was closed for renovations, but Penny ensured we still made the most of our visit to the area. The tour was well organised from start to finish. Our driver was punctual, friendly, and professional, and the private vehicle was clean, comfortable, and air-conditioned, making it easy to relax between stops. This was a fantastic introduction to Ho Chi Minh City, and we highly recommend this Klook tour. If you're lucky enough to have Penny as your guide, you're in for a memorable and enjoyable experience!

One of the best tours to truly understand and appreciate Vietnam and how it has become what it is today. It took a long time for Vietnam to get to where it is now, and this tour provides valuable insight into that journey. The war remnants was heart-wrenching, and I couldn't finish looking through all the photos because they were incredibly heavy and heartbreaking. Despite the emotional experience, we had an amazing time during the tour. Be sure to bring cooling spray, water, and a fan to help you survive the Ho Chi Minh heat! A special thank you to our tour guide Cyta, who made this tour even more enjoyable. she was kind, knowledgeable, and shared so many stories about Vietnam's past, which made the experience much more meaningful. We really appreciate this type of tour arrangement compared to traditional travel agency tours. It allowed us to explore at our own pace while immersing ourselves in the local culture and daily life. It felt more personal, authentic, and enjoyable overall.

Vi havde en yderst fornøjelig dag med Daisy og hendes chauffør i går. Vi besøgte et lakeringsværksted, Cu Chi-tunnelerne, spiste frokost på en smuk restaurant, Krigsmuseet og Genforeningspaladset. Daisy var den perfekte balance mellem at være vidende og samtidig give os plads til at udforske på egen hånd. Da vi var ved tunnelerne, og min yngste var for bange til at kravle igennem dem, underholdt Daisy hende, mens resten af vores familie gik gennem de 20 meter lange tunneler – kan VARMT anbefales i øvrigt! SUV'en var yderst komfortabel, med nakkestøtter, kopholdere, opladere, snacks og slik. Chaufføren tilføjede endda friske pandanblade, så bilen duftede fantastisk. Det var en brændende varm dag, og det var himmelsk at kunne vende tilbage til denne bil. Vi følte os meget velplejede og havde den bedste dag. Kan varmt anbefale Daisy og denne skræddersyede tur for en sjov og lærerig dag.

Lang var en fremragende turguide; hun kender fantastiske steder at tage dig med hen, især hvis det er din første gang i Saigon. Jeg ønsker hende alt det bedste.

Winderful experience . Great planning, knowledgeable guide and transfer quality quite good. only the itinerary could have been better planned since the Notre Dame place was closed for maintenance and we missed out seeing one location

He shared detailed history, even things that wasn’t mentioned at the Independence Palace. Although guides are not allowed inside the War Museum, I’m sure Jack would have shared even more valuable information there too. He also guided us on where to shop and explained the history of Ben Thanh Market 🛍️📖. If we had gone on our own, we wouldn’t have known so much about these places — so thanks to him for making it so informative and interesting 😊. We were actually his first customers, so it felt like a private tour for us 😁✨. It was amazing to have such a personal guide. I would definitely recommend booking this tour, and I hope you get Jack as your guide too 😊. Overall, it was a wonderful journey and a truly memorable experience 💖✨.

We had a great time on a tour with Annie and Vy! The bike ride was exciting and enjoyed the entire trip throughout the city and the history of Saigon. Thank you both for being the excellent guides. Dan was the best! I don’t usually enjoy history tours because they can be boring, but Dan was so informative and entertaining. I felt like it wasn’t just a history lesson, but also a personal retelling of the impact of time and how everything still affects the current state. Absolute best tour guide around!
