I originally thought we'd only play for two hours, but we ended up staying for almost five! Although the park is a bit small, it has a lot of animals you can interact with and feed. We visited on Saturday, April 18, 2026. The weather was cloudy that day, but thankfully it didn't rain. The park has deer, capybaras, turtles, dogs, and donkeys. The staff put a lot of effort into designing activities, such as printing commemorative postcards, collecting stamps at each station, and finally piecing together various colors to form the park's star animal members. There's also a commemorative stamp on the back. Although the park isn't large, the staff's dedication is evident everywhere. You can replenish mosquito repellent, and at the hay distribution point, you can get a small gift by leaving a review on Facebook or Instagram. We received two cute fans that day. It's recommended to check the weather before going, as most of the park is outdoors. You can also purchase e-tickets through Klook in advance for a slightly lower price and exchange them for physical tickets at the counter upon arrival. A full-price ticket is 200 NTD, which can be exchanged for feed and hay to feed the animals. The capybaras are super cute when they eat! 🥰 There's also a small cafe within the park, and the souvenir shop at the exit has a wide array of adorable merchandise, including plush toys, cups, badges, and hats – almost anything you can imagine. Overall, the planning is excellent, and the staff are friendly and enthusiastic. We would definitely visit again if we have the chance!

We were lucky that the National Center for Traditional Arts had a special offer on KLOOK, a buy-one-get-one-free deal on tickets. This made it half the price of buying tickets at the venue, with some money left over. Online ticketing was very fast; we made a last-minute decision and bought the tickets online after arriving at the center's parking lot. The tickets were issued less than five minutes after booking. When we got to the entrance, it saved us the hassle of buying physical tickets. We just showed the QR code from our voucher at the entrance, and we were able to go right in!

After purchasing, you'll need to exchange your voucher for a physical ticket on-site. This ticket can be used to redeem products. I exchanged mine for XO sauce, which was delicious when I sampled it. After entering and going down the stairs, you can see the factory's production line. Once you reach the main hall, there are samples available. If you keep your sampling utensils, you can get more samples on the third floor. There's also a restaurant on the third floor. When you're ready to leave, you can take the elevator downstairs, which is convenient for elderly visitors.

Finally, I've arrived at the dreamy Yilan Waterfront Forest. Here, there's no urban hustle and bustle, only the rustling of wind through the treetops and a group of capybaras living their best, most "chill" lives. Watching them squint in the sun and leisurely paddle through the water, it's as if they're reminding us that life can actually be quite simple: all you need is a little sunshine, some grass, and a relaxed mindset.
