Jeg bookede Viva Old Manila Walking Tour gennem Klook og havde en fantastisk oplevelse. Vores guide, Russell, var utrolig vidende og informativ og delte fascinerende historier og historisk indsigt under hele turen. Vi besøgte 8 stop rundt om i Intramuros, og hvert sted havde sin egen unikke historie og betydning. Det, jeg satte mest pris på, var, hvordan Russell forbandt historierne med nutidens Manila, hvilket gjorde turen både engagerende og lærerig. Kan varmt anbefales til alle, der besøger Manila og ønsker at få en dybere forståelse af byens rige historie og kultur.

Vi tog afsted kl. 05.00 og ankom til Tagaytay kl. 06.45. Det var en behagelig tur hele vejen. Vi besøgte People’s Park in the Sky, Tagaytay Picnic Grove, Museo Orlina, Sunflower Farmville, The Gingerbread House, Twin Lakes og Sky Ranch. Til frokost tog vi til Balay Dako. Vi var færdige kl. 15.30, da vi ikke havde til hensigt at tilbringe hele dagen der. Jeg vil helt klart anbefale det.

This tour is really nice and I recommend you book it. Our tour guide Sir Cedhie is very informative and very nice. He is very good in communicating about the tour and also shaeing all the history facts about Philippines. Also he answered all the questions asked by the tour participants. This is good for international travellers because the language he used is English. 10/10 for this tour 👍👍

What a joy it was to discover Intramuros through Bambike. I picked the extended tour and it was a perfect way to explore as the distance between the spots are a little far to walk. Being on the bike made it both efficient and breezy. Samantha was my guide for the day and she had so much knowledge at each spot - along with fun facts that really made each stop a lot more memorable as sometimes they aren't very interesting to look at per se. She also brought along a folio of pictures that really help contextualised the entire experience with references to timelines and examples. While there are a few traffic crossings that are busier, Samantha always made sure that my safety was a priority and used hand signals to convey any directional change. Finishing the tour with some local ice-cream and ice cold towel was so refreshing. The bike looked a little kooky but worked really smoothly. All the staff are friendly, warm, and helpful. Top notch initiative!

for people who thinks, nothing much to see in Manila, take time to know a little of Manila history. a very nice experience. thanks goes to my tour agent. as many others said before he is excellent. so knowledgeable, so fun. easy to use. Just him wearing a blue uniform with a lanyard. Just go to the entrance. your 3hrs will fly by very fast.

Jeg blev først nervøs, fordi jeg endnu ikke var blevet kontaktet angående chaufføroplysninger, og det var allerede dagen før den bookede dato. Jeg ringede til de angivne kontaktnumre, og de var meget lydhøre. Chaufføren ringede derefter for at bekræfte om eftermiddagen. Under turen var vores chauffør, Sir Glenn, meget venlig, hjælpsom og respektfuld. Han lod os styre vores rejseplan, især da vi havde ældre borgere og et lille barn med i vores gruppe. Vi havde en fantastisk tid på vores Baguio-tur. Det var udmattende, men det var det hele værd.

Mødestedet var ved Starbucks One E-Com Center. Chaufføren hentede os til tiden. På vej til Tagaytay fik min kusine det dårligt i bilen og kastede lidt op, men chaufføren var meget venlig og gjorde endda rent efter os. Turen gik rigtig godt, og vi nød den meget. Vi sprang nogle steder over på rejseplanen, for efter frokost var vi alle udmattede og ville bare hvile og tage hjem. Bortset fra det gik alt glat. Ros til chaufføren – jeg fik ikke fat i hans navn, men han var meget venlig 👍
