We went out on the RealNZ Milford Monarch. The Captain was very informative of the sights and history of the sound. He took us close to beautiful waterfalls for great photo ops. The cafe had good food and drinks. This is a beautiful experience worth the long drive

The tour is packed in one day. Very reasonable and worth the price. Our tour guide Andy is a safe driver, good at communicating and was also very generous in stopping at other beautiful spots apart from listed itinerary to take some shots. highly recommended.

Dette var en fantastisk oplevelse. Andy var en fremragende guide og turarrangør – han delte mange historiske fakta om New Zealand og Mt Cook (Aoraki). Han gav os anbefalinger til vandrestier, og havde en god tidsstyring – det var en lang tur, men den var meget behagelig og informativ. Udsigten over Lake Pukaki og Aoraki og området omkring er betagende, det er det hele værd som en dagstur.

Our tour guide Kevin from Altitude Tours Queenstown was engaging, informative and entertaining. We were comfortably taken to Glenorchy & Paradise and enjoyed a little picnic with some delicious south land food and hot drinks. We were able to take some beautiful photos. The drive to Glenorchy offers beautiful scenery. Our driver and guide, Jim, was excellent and very attentive to our needs. He was also enthusiastic about sharing his knowledge and could even take photos for you if you wished. The scenery at the wharf was also lovely.

We booked a Queenstown to Christchurch transfer tour for June 26th. From the start, communication was seamless; the reception team quickly answered all pre-trip questions and sent helpful safety reminders. Everything was perfectly well-prepared. The driving was exceptionally safe. Our morning guide was high-energy, sharing great local stories. The guides clearly love their jobs and the NZ landscape, taking us to secret viewpoints with plenty of photo time. Their boss even called ahead during the trip to check road conditions after recent snow—a thoughtful touch. They also saved our day at Mt Cook by providing ice spikes when we realized our running shoes weren't enough, alongside water and snacks. The transition to the next leg was seamless. The lady who took over was highly responsible, ensuring we forgot nothing and waiting with us. Finally, our Christchurch driver safely dropped everyone off right at their respective hotels on time. Min familie og jeg havde en vidunderlig tid under hele den 13 timer lange varevognstur fra Christchurch til Queenstown. Prisen for turen var det hele værd, da vi kunne nyde alle de seværdigheder og stop, vi gjorde. Snacks og frokost var også lækre og mættende. Rosie hentede os fra vores hotel og kørte os til Lake Tekapo og Mt Cook, mens Abbie kørte os fra Mt Cook til High Country Salmon Farm og derefter til vores indkvartering i Queenstown. Selve turen føltes behagelig og sikker. Der var 3 ledige sæder i Rosies varevogn, mens Abbies var fyldt med 16 personer. Dette var en rigtig sjov måde at komme rundt på. Vil helt sikkert anbefale Cheeky Kiwi til venner og familie!

Riding in an off-road jeep was so cool! Before we even got in, the guide said we could sit anywhere, so I went straight for the front passenger seat. 😂 I highly recommend the front passenger seat! 👍 The view is great, and you can chat with the guide. 🤣 Their commentary was also very interesting. Plus, the Legend of Zelda movie coming out in 2027 was filmed here, which is exciting for fans! There was also an afternoon tea break, and both the banana cake and hot cocoa were delicious. Just a heads-up, though: there are some small, blood-sucking flies in the area that can be a bit annoying. 😂

This is really my honest review! I book the trip with my mom. The tour with altitude team is truly amazing, the timeliness, the car is clean and they even provide blanket for all of us. But the star of this journey is Andy! our tour guide+driver, he is so kind and helpful, He even always made sure all of his clients were doing well, and whenever we needed a restroom break, he was very attentive. You could truly see that he loves his job and is passionate about explaining everything throughout the journey. I would definitely choose this tour again for my next trip maybe to mt cook.
