Bali Klatring

Immensely rewarding if you’re ready to undertake an extremely early & exhausting trek to the top! As seen in the photos attached with my review, the phone simply doesn’t do justice to what your eyes witness as you’re climbing Mount Batur. I booked this experience over dinner the previous day at 8pm after debating constantly about whether I would be able to accommodate it to my existing itinerary. I pulled the trigger and committed myself to the challenge - and I’m glad that was the case because this truly did complete my Bali experience! Gede was an amazing guide, kept his tempo in check, constantly made sure the people in his group were alright, made us walking sticks from wood (super clutch for this trek or bring your own walking sticks!) and made us food/hot drinks at the peak! Dedi our driver to and from Mt. Batur was the chillest dude ever - he slept in the car until we were finished and dropped us off without issues! An absolute bro if you ever meet him! 100% recommended!

Jeg var alene på denne tur. Dette var den eneste mulighed, der kunne hente mig i Sidemen, hvor jeg boede. Chaufføren var ankommet til hotellet kl. 1:45. 15 minutter før vores aftale, hvilket var fantastisk. Derefter kørte han mig over til min guide. Made var en virkelig fantastisk guide! Han var meget hjælpsom, sjov og god til at snakke. Selvom jeg var alene, følte jeg mig ikke sådan. På toppen fik jeg morgenmad. Det var ikke noget særligt. Udsigten fra toppen var fantastisk! Vi havde en rigtig dejlig dag til det. Tak til Made for at gøre dette til en uforglemmelig tur! Og til min chauffør, der kørte 3 timer uden meget søvn! En meget god oplevelse. Jeg kan virkelig anbefale det!🌋

Vi havde en fantastisk oplevelse på denne tur. Turen er godt organiseret - lige fra afhentning på hotellet og vandreguiden til Montana-cafeen. Vores chauffør, Purna, er fantastisk. Han er meget sød og professionel. Vores vandreguide er meget erfaren, men han var dog mere interesseret i at få os ned ad bjerget igen end i at lade sig udforske toppen, heh. Men solopgangen oppe på bjerget er utrolig! Det samme er det unge krater og de vulkanske dampe i krateret. Montana-cafeen har en fantastisk udsigt over Mount Batur, og maden er lækker! Alt i alt er vi meget glade for den private tur.

It was an incredible experience from start to finish🤩 Our driver and contact person, Tyson, was an amazingly dedicated, kind, funny, helpful, competent, and above all, incredibly accommodating guide. It was a pleasure being on the road with him right from the start. He provided coffee right at the beginning to wake us up, along with water. He told us a lot about the country and its people, so the drive to the starting point flew by. :) Once there, he introduced us to our equally great hiking guide, Yogi (I hope I spelled that right), and off we went. The hike was pleasant and a bit challenging, but very manageable. Once at the top, there was breakfast and coffee or tea (drinks for a small extra charge). It was quite windy (warm clothing is a must), after which he showed us the best photo spots and the still-active sulfur vents. Klook allows very few words 😅 book this trip, highly recommended, the guides are absolute top notch. Thanks for everything🫶

The sunset, the night view of the village, and the dog that accompanied me all the way to the top of the mountain. Thank you very much to the guide for cooking volcanic steam eggs for us; they were delicious.

The guide was nice enough to stop and wait for everyone to assemble. We took the jungle/paddy path down, it would have been nice if we stopped for photograph. The view was awesome for sure 5/5. The natural hot spring is more like a swimming "pool", it wasn't hot but warm. Too crowded and the line to change & shower (co-ed) was insane. If possible I rather advice go for sauna/spas

I highly recommend this to anyone who enjoys hiking. I have beginner-level hiking experience. Our guide was incredibly professional, leading us every step of the way. The volcanic gravel is very slippery (even on a clear day), and going downhill was quite challenging. The guide even let me hold onto his trekking pole because he was worried I might slip. I highly recommend this experience. There are ropes to hold onto and rocks to climb. Remember to bring a trekking pole (if you don't have one, the hiking company will lend you one) and wear a good pair of hiking shoes. The natural trails are largely untouched by human intervention, which is beautiful. This is a wonderful and very professional hiking company. Many thanks to our guide. Thank you very much.

Very misleading name. I ended up on the main Batur Trek instead of the caldera one. I couldn't complete the trek due to some physical limitations, but overall still found it a great experience.
