Transport i Yokohama

Dette hjalp mig meget med at komme til alle de steder, jeg har besøgt i Kansai-området. Da jeg er ny i forhold til, hvordan togsystemet fungerer i Japan, har jeg en tendens til at fare vild, og med dette pas behøver jeg aldrig at bekymre mig om at bruge ekstra penge på transport, hvis jeg ender på den forkerte station, da det er ubegrænset.

The bus driver on the Bayside Blue line gives a really entertaining tour. He speaks into the microphone while driving, saying things like, "Your kindness makes everyone smile." At first, I wondered if he was involved in some kind of religious group. When we approached a curve, he'd say, "We're turning left, left, left... oh wait, my mistake, we're turning right!" Or, "I thought we were going to stop at this red light, but it immediately turned green!" The passengers started chuckling, and it created a really pleasant and fun atmosphere.

Dette pas er meget praktisk, men den eneste ulempe er, at man skal igennem en manuel sluse. Nogle gange er der ingen personale på andre stationer, eller personalet er gået hjem, så man er nødt til at bruge samtaleanlægget eller bare gå igennem. Ellers er dette pas meget nyttigt til at besøge Takao-san, Enoshima og Kawagoe. Man viser i princippet bare Tokyo Pass-skærmen på sin telefon. Man kan rejse fra Narita Lufthavns Terminal 1, 2 eller 3 uden yderligere betaling, og det er også gratis at bruge, når man rejser hjem. Gyldighedsperioden er kun 5 dage, hvor det er helt gratis.

Mr. Li was our driver, and there were 6 adults in total (the children are quite large and already in high school). The driver was very kind, giving him a hundred points 💯. He would confirm the time the day before! He also drove slowly, allowing me to take pictures of the Shonan Monorail in Fujisawa 💕. Because the elders were almost 80 years old, they didn't have the energy to go to Enoshima station, so thankfully we chartered a car. We quickly got in the car and returned to the hotel, and the overtime was calculated reasonably. After arriving at Shibuya on the Tokyo Metro Hanzomon Line, I went to pick up my item. If you follow the route to exits A0-A3, there's a restroom on your right. The pick-up counter is located across from it. Japanese citizens can also pick up items here. There was no need to show a passport or ID. I think being able to purchase and hold a Tokyu one-day pass in advance is a significant advantage.

This is very useful for a day trip to Yokohama, including lunch, when traveling to Tokyo. After exchanging your voucher for physical tickets (train ticket, meal voucher) at the Shibuya Station B1F Tourist Information Center, scan the QR code on the ticket envelope for detailed information on available restaurants and menus. From Shibuya Station, I took the Tokyu Toyoko Line express train and arrived at Yokohama Chinatown in just 50 minutes. I explored the beach park, dined at Hong Kong Daebanjeom in Chinatown, and then toured the tourist attractions along the Minatomirai Line. Highly recommended! You could also spend the morning in central Tokyo, then come here for an early dinner and a night view tour.
