Things to do in Okinawa Prefecture

This aquarium indeed does not disappoint. We spent at least 3 hours indoors going through 3 levels, and then went outdoor to feed sea turtles, watched the dolphin show and fed the dolphins. The dolphin feeding experience was very popular though, and it’s limited to 25 ‘groups’ of participants for each time slot, so will need to queue up really quickly. Both feeding programs are separately payable. ¥500 per bucket of food.

The dinosaur park that was hyped up a lot before, giving off an Asian Jurassic Park vibe, I couldn't even get a reservation last month, but I finally made it this time! The park isn't that big, but the immersive experience is pretty good. From the park staff to the amusement facilities, everything is quite detailed. When I first entered the park and was still clueless, I encountered a Taiwanese staff member who really helped us a lot. When we didn't know how to plan our itinerary, they quickly gave us a tour and arranged our schedule so we wouldn't waste time going in the wrong direction. Overall, the experience was very immersive and enthusiastic. Many of the attractions are suitable for children, and the thrilling rides require a lottery for queueing, so you might not be able to play them. If you're an adult who really wants to play, you should definitely buy a fast pass. The park hasn't been open for long, and it's not as bad as the online reviews suggest. There are many areas being adjusted, but overall, it's still quite recommended. The two Taiwanese staff members in the park were very enthusiastic. If you encounter anything you don't understand or have any suggestions, they are very open to accepting them, and I believe that with continued improvement, the experience will be even better and of higher quality. Taiwanese people can go to the service desk at the entrance with their tickets to get a guide and coupons. If you get tired of walking around, you can go to the VIP lounge to rest, and you can also get priority seating on the tour bus. Also, if Taiwanese people want to ride the off-road vehicle, remember to bring your "Taiwanese driver's license and Japanese translation" with you when you get off the bus in order to play.

Very easy to use, just scan the QR code! Just be aware that the usage period is calculated from the date of order and must be used within 28 days. I misread the time this time and thought it was calculated from the date of use! As a result, I only had 2 days left to use the dates I booked, and I couldn't cancel, so I had to complete the itinerary within 2 days. This time I bought the 5-in-1 pass and used it for Okinawa Churaumi Aquarium, DMM Kariyushi Aquarium and the in-house restaurant, Okashigoten Dinosaur Park, and Kouri Ocean Tower! But I really recommend the FUN Pass.

Experience: The electronic tickets are very convenient, just scan them for admission. Unfortunately, they open at 9:00 AM, and the popular pet feeding tickets are sold out by 9:30 AM, so I recommend arriving before opening if you want to feed the animals. Facilities: The environment is clean and the space is pretty good, but some pet areas inside are a bit stuffy. This is probably to accommodate the pets' needs, so it's understandable.

It was a very nice experience. the cave is obviously the main attraction. it is very humid down there and severel stairs which are slippery. Hole yourself on the rail just incase. And one advice: After purchasing the ticket do not open the voucher until you are in front a ticketing agent at the entrance. otherwise your ticket might become invalid/used. Other than that you a snake museum and a little zoo with animals, some snack stations and shops and a restaurant. At station number 5 you can check out one of the two alternating live shows each hour. All in All you can spend around 2-3 hours here and attach a visit to the nearby mibaru beach.

The bus pick up was on time. The bus is clean & comfortable with wifi. The driver drives safely. the tour is organized well with ample time for each attraction & not rushed. it is best to take this tour if you don’t have a car to go around Okinawa.

Ms. Qian, the tour guide, led us through a pleasant day! This trip didn't involve self-driving, so we joined a day tour. The northern attractions were very appealing and were some of the most worthwhile places to visit in Okinawa. The tour members were all punctual in arriving at the departure time. Although the drive was long, the tour guide enlivened the atmosphere and carefully introduced the history, precautions, etc. of each location. The amount of time spent at each attraction was sufficient to see the entire site. However, at the end, in American Village, we chose to return on our own because we felt that the original 40 minutes was not enough. The tour guide also told us that we could choose a bus back to Naha for the return trip. The whole experience was very enjoyable, and with the tour guide's introduction, it is highly recommended. The early bird discount is also much cheaper!

The Okinawa FunPASS Value Series is a great value, including tickets and transportation discounts for many popular attractions, such as Churaumi Aquarium, Kouri Ocean Tower, Gyokusen Cave, etc. It is easy to use, just scan the QR code to enter, no need to queue up to buy tickets, saving time. It can also be used with Yui-Rail or buses, which is very friendly to independent travelers. One card saves time and money, and is recommended for travelers who want to easily travel around Okinawa. It is a good tool that cannot be missed when planning your itinerary.

It's s lot cheaper to purchase the tickets here on klook, you can easily exchange the tickets with QR code. The animals are cute and the zoo is well arranged, but the interact session with animals are limited, I would still recommend this place specifically for family with small kids.
