Things to do in Cameron Highlands

We really liked the experience, we visited all the main places in Cameron Highlands which are very beautiful. Our tour guide Venoth was amazing⭐️ he gave us a lot of information about the places and always with positive energy during the whole trip. As a European traveller, I personally found the first two stops of the tour less engaging. The real highlights of the day were the authentic lunch at the golf course and, the visit to the tea plantation in the Cameron Valley Highlands, which is the main reason to join this tour. The organisation was excellent: the bus arrived on time, the seats were spacious and comfortable, and the driver drove very cautiously, which was much appreciated. The air conditioning was quite cold for us, as we are not particularly used to it, but this is of course a minor point. Our tour guide, Sasi, was outstanding — professional, knowledgeable and clearly proud to share his Malaysian heritage. He struck a great balance between being informative and entertaining, often adding humour while providing historical background and context to the places we visited. Overall, this day tour is highly recommended for travellers who want a good introduction and a glimpse of the natural beauty of the Cameron Highlands.

The experience was well organized, enjoyable, and informative throughout. Our tour guide, Mr Safuan, was extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and very kind. He shared a lot of interesting information and made everyone feel comfortable and welcomed. We really appreciated his warmth and professionalism. Highly recommended.

Pleasant experience, hassle free...guide is friendly and itinerary is adjustable based on weather condition. Overall it is worth it...perhaps if the price of package to included for admission ticket will make things even easier....However, i am satisfied with the arrangement and thanks for making my trip enjoyable and stress-free

Awesome experience! KJ, our guide, was superb—friendly, patient, and incredibly knowledgeable. He took the time to explain and show us various plants in the mossy forest, and we learned so much along the way. Even though it was raining, KJ still brought us to a scenic tea plantation spot in his jeep for some amazing photo opportunities. He patiently catered to all our picture requests, even suggesting poses and creative angles for the best shots. Big thanks to KJ for making the trip so memorable!

Guide, Bobby, was really nice and friendly. When we requested to not visit the butterfly and bee farm, he was okay to adjust to our requests. He was also considerate to my mum’s limited mobility and offered to drop and pick us at the top of the Boh Tea Centre (usually people have to walk down to get to the carpark). Lunch at the golf course was okay as well, just that there was no lift to the restaurant on the 2nd floor and there were houseflies (so can bring some repellent to let them stay away - i used axe oil). Though one thing to note, itinerary mentions that 1800h return, but in actual fact, we left Cameron around 3pm and reached our hotel at 7pm.

we had an excellent half day trip led by Ben who is a hard-core nature and plants lover. He has very good in depth knowledge about the tea plantation, and about the unique plants found at Mossy Forest. was a very educational tour to my family, my hubby liked it very much!

The Sheep Sanctuary is a fun and cute place, especially for families with kids. The sheep are friendly and you can feed and pet them. The area is clean and well-managed. It’s a small place, but great for quick visits and nice photos. Try to go early in the day to avoid crowds. Overall, a lovely stop if you love animals!

Flora Park is a beautiful place with many colorful flowers and great photo spots. I really liked the Golden Maple Bridge and the Stairway to Infinity – perfect for Instagram! The garden is clean and well-maintained. I went on a weekday, so it wasn’t crowded. It’s better to visit on weekdays to enjoy the peaceful view and take nice pictures without waiting. The shuttle service was smooth and the staff were friendly. A great place to relax and enjoy nature!
