Fantastic 5.0
It was so much fun and absolutely worth it for this trip! Klook makes booking easy, offers many promotions, and is hassle-free, which made this trip smooth. I recommend it to friends: if you're going to Hong Kong Disneyland, you can experience almost every ride without needing to buy Premier Access. The wait times aren't long. However, if there are two of you, I suggest eating at The Banquet Hall in Fantasyland. The food is delicious, and there's an 80 HKD discount when purchased with your ticket, which is incredibly good value. Don't forget to watch the Mickey show; it's the best! I was so happy. The ticket felt free because every penny was well spent.

Nice visiting the HK Palace Museum while only 5 exhibition halls available out of 7 and would be great to have free lockers which would be convenient to visitors. In general, the exhibition about cobalt blue ceramics is fascinating!

If you don’t want to line up for tickets going to The Peak, this is definitely the best option for you. The staff assisted me right away where to enter and scan my QR code to enter and wait for the Tram going up and the same goes when you leave. I had a great time exploring The Peak and would definitely go back with my family or friends there!

We went on a very sunny day, the weather was great. We took the Crystal Cabin. There were more sights on the right side – the airport, the big bridge... (Actually, you can see them more clearly from an airplane; the cable car isn't high enough). But on the left side, you can eventually see the Big Buddha and Po Lin Monastery. In the Crystal Cabin, it feels like you're standing on water and above the forest. I later realized that the Ngong Ping 360 advertisement features the panoramic cabin. I believe the panoramic cabin would give an even stronger 'person in the air' sensation. When we arrived, there were still decorations for the 20th anniversary, even though it had just ended. There's an Ngong Ping Bing Sutt (cafe) for photo opportunities. Inside the cabin, only the small windows open for ventilation, so it felt a bit stuffy. On the return trip, in a standard cabin, the sun hadn't set by 6:00 PM because it was summer, and clouds were covering the sun. I recommend allowing more time, 5 hours or more, if you want to visit the Big Buddha in addition to Po Lin Monastery. I didn't go up that day, not only because I didn't have enough time but also because it was too sunny; the weather only became overcast closer to 5 PM. I had been up before, so I didn't go again, but last time I took the bus only to the Big Buddha and didn't visit Po Lin Monastery.

Walking into Tai Kwun's Better Together, I wasn't a spectator—I was a student. As an amateur filmmaker, 拍住上 (paak zyu soeng) is my mantra. It's the pat on the shoulder, the camera roll, the bond that turns a crew into family. This exhibition breathes life into that. From 80s wire work to 90s explosions, every prop whispers: we do this together. Standing before relics from Police Story III, I felt cinematic history. Recreated action & behind-the-scenes footage unveil Hong Kong's special effects magic—revealing how a tiny speck crafted a language Hollywood echoed. The journey from Black Rose to Rob N Roll charts not just film history, but a city's soul—resilient, adaptive, collaborative. Walking with these legends, I rediscovered my "why." This isn't an exhibition; it's a masterclass in heart & hustle. Devoted, sincere, unstoppable—these define filmmakers. If you care about film or overcoming odds, go. Feel the paak zyu soeng for yourself.

Fantastic 5.0
When we visited, Ocean Park had a Sanrio crossover event, so there were many Sanrio character decorations and even a Sanrio character exhibition, which was very novel. Ocean Park's animal conservation is excellent; there are many different animals like dolphins, otters, meerkats, pandas, and more. All of them are very energetic and lively. The dolphins even jump out of the water to play on their own, showing they are very well cared for. The staff were also very enthusiastic in sharing information about the animals with us! Afterwards, we had lunch at the Arctic Blast Restaurant, eating while watching the penguins, which was delightful! Perhaps the younger generation isn't as keen on thrill rides, as there weren't many people queuing for Ocean Park's rides. The longest wait was half an hour, and for some, there was no wait at all. However, the staff checked everything very thoroughly, making it feel very safe. I truly feel that Ocean Park represents Hong Kong's theme parks well; the shopping and snacks inside are also very reasonably priced!

I thoroughly enjoyed both the permanent collection and the special exhibitions. The ability to see contemporary Asian art is a major advantage. Currently, a solo exhibition by artist Lee Bul is underway. You can also see works by Korean artists such as Kimsooja and Nam June Paik. The views of the West Kowloon Cultural District and Victoria Harbour through the large glass windows are a highlight in themselves. The staff were also very friendly and helpful, which showed great attention to detail. There are food trucks nearby, so it would be a good idea to grab lunch or dinner after seeing the exhibition. (I also visited the adjacent Hong Kong Palace Museum and saw the Egyptian exhibition.)

it was great. The Ninja was good as well. While the small little arcade area the some kids don't take turns properly and take a long time to play but over all it was good experience.

Using the dining voucher at Hong Kong Disneyland was very easy and convenient. The process was smooth, and we had no trouble redeeming it at the restaurants inside the park. Take note, that we just decided to book it when we were already at the park that day. Hassle free, indeed. It made dining hassle-free and allowed us to enjoy our meals without worrying too much about payments. A great add-on to enhance the overall Disneyland experience.

What to know before visiting Hong Kong

Year-round highlights and busiest seasons

Hong Kong’s top bookings are led by Theme parks, followed by Events & shows and Observation decks, with Museums and Playgrounds supplying extra options. Demand crests around December and dips in June, so the city’s big-ticket leisure draw builds through autumn into the year-end holiday season.

Best activities for families, couples and solo travellers

Families will find Theme parks and Playgrounds ideal — family-friendly rides and play spaces dominate the booking mix. Couples often steer towards Events & shows and Observation decks for shared evenings out and skyline views. Solo travellers and small groups can pick up Museums and Observation decks easily, which suit flexible, shorter outings and quieter sightseeing.

What travellers should book ahead

What travellers book ahead With typical booking lead times around three days, most activities in Hong Kong can be arranged a day or two before you go, but the earliest planners still book about fifteen days out. Booking ahead matters most in the peak month of December, when demand is noticeably higher.

How the categories compare on price and audience

Observation decks are the easiest way in price-wise and sit at the lower end of the typical price range, making them a sensible choice for budget-conscious visitors or quick stops. Theme parks are the priciest on average and appeal strongly to families and groups seeking full-day entertainment. Events & shows have the widest price spread, ranging from low-cost performances to premium experiences, so they suit both bargain hunters and those after something special. Museums and Playgrounds fall into mid-range slots and round out the city’s options for quieter cultural visits or child-focused activities.
