Very good hotel, at a great location. Only recommendation I would offer is to offer buffet breakfast. Also, if breakfast is prebooked, it should include children, not only adults

Genial

Lovely and very clean hotel room in a great location. It is within walking distance to the shopping district and the Gion area. The only thing was that we found the room very small for us- 2 adults and two teens. The room was otherwise beautiful and comfortable. I’d stay again but will opt for a much bigger room.

Great place to stay during our quick trip to Kyoto. Staff was pleasant and extremely helpful. The hotel had interest since it had a gallery, displayed & sold local art. Loved the view from our room that looked towards Gion and only a 30 minute walk to the area. Hotel was nicely situated across the street from 7-11 and about 10 minutes from great shopping and eateries.

We stayed a week at this hotel. The room was clean and looked very nice. It was a bit on the smaller side, but with a big bathroom including bath & shower. The location is great, within a short walk to Gion and Kyoto’s city center. It is also well connected to all other sights through public transports. We had the breakfast included with our room. All breakfast options were very good, but after a week we were starting to hope for variety. Finally, the staff was very kind and helpful!

Very uniqe hotel in a good location within 10 minute walk of old Gion, no TV or closets in the room but the art and mural light room was very interesting.
