Room was clean and spacious, breakfast was great and appreciated the availability of both Western and Japanese breakfast. Would have appreciated an early check-in but understand that not always possible.

Make sure you prepay for the reservations and breakfast to avoid confusion by the staff. Also, Expedia doesn’t include the cost of local taxes in the cost estimate.

A refined, well-kept hotel with spacious accommodations and a quiet atmosphere. Overall, my stay was pleasant, though there were a couple of service inconsistencies. I received conflicting information regarding breakfast, and there was some confusion with breakfast seating one morning that left me puzzled. Neither issue ruined my stay, but both took away from what otherwise would have been a smooth experience.

The hotel is beautiful and has a very comfortable room with a high-quality mattress. The staff were extremely helpful, and I was impressed by everyone's hospitality and courtesy; they were all friendly. If you're looking for a classic place, stay there. It's about 15 minutes from Kyoto center, but you won't be disappointed. Thank you for making my stay very pleasant.

All staffs are very professional and friendly. Breakfast are phenomenal. The room is very clean. The hotel also provides shuttle bus to and from nearest subway every 20 minutes.

Five star service! A little bit outdated, but kept very well. So glad I was able to stay a couple of nights before their major renovations. Looking forward to stay there after completion.
