Breakfast was good. The restaurant were very expensive. The downside there's no pool or sun loungers to enjoy the sun when it came out. It rained heavily everyday. June or July not a good time to visit. Nothing to do at the hotel. We went out every day in the rain too. Visited the Imperial palace and Samurai Museum. Trains were cheap and easy to use. Eating out was cheaper too be careful of Tsujiya groove cafe they charge 400 yen each just to sit in there. Food wasn't good just across the road from hotel

Having a shuttle to Kyoto Station was very helpful. I do wish it started running earlier than 9am as so many of the attractions get busy before that time and getting there early is important. Otherwise, this hotel was clean and provided exactly what we needed for our 3 day stay in Kyoto! I would stay again.

Great pool, on the upper scale so limited splashing with kids in it. Yet great pool and staff. Also great dinner buffet. Excellent choices and felt very high class buffet. Room for 4 was perfect and spacious. Proximity to the Kyoto station including a shuttle to the train station.

Less than expected from the pictures. Breakfast discount vouchers were available for one day. The staff could not find them when asked for next morning.
