Great location close to Kyoto station. It has a decent breakfast buffet and the really highlight is the in-house Onsen. The rooms were a little small though.

The hotel was very clean and well maintained. The staff was very friendly and extremely helpful. A family member lost their earbud in our room and after a search we couldn't find it. The cleaning staff did such a good job they did find and placed it in plain sight. We didn't even tell them it was lost. The buffet breakfast was wonderful and included many options. A great opportunity to try new foods. Very conveniently located near Kyoto station.

This was our second stay and we really enjoy this hotel. It is very clean and the staff is very helpful. We had our luggage shipped from Tokyo several days before we arrived and they held it for us. The rooms are small but that is expected in Japan. The beds are very comfortable though and it is very quiet. There is laundry machines, and the hotel has breakfast and public baths but we haven't used them. The hotel gives you recyclable bags and some other amenities (toothbrushes, etc) you can keep. The location is unmatched - you can get to Kyoto station in about 2 minutes and a conbini is along the wall to the station so quick access for coffee or snacks. The only complaint we have is this time we stayed at Kaguya (we had been in Miyabi before). Despite choosing a nonsmoking room, you have to pass a smoking area (room with a door) to get to the elevators where the Kaguya rooms are. This was smelly and we really didn't enjoy it. We would not stay on that side again if we could avoid it. We were in a traditional Japanese style room with tatami. I am unsure if they have tatami rooms on the Miyabi side.

Clean but small room as expected in Japan and close to Kyoto station. Not much around but 7/11 near by. Good value!!!

We were staying in the tatami room with terrace. My daughter love it very much.

The entire hotel was immaculate. The room was standard Japanese size but very well maintained and equipped. We only stayed a night but it was league's above our hotel in Tokyo. Definitely would recommend for an extended stay.

The laundry was wonderful. We used it twice. We did not eat breakfast.

Staff was very friendly, we were in a great location, and they had a delicious breakfast. This is a great place to stay!
