Plenty of shops, restaurants, central Ubud

PERFECT!!

Beautiful buildings in a very convenient location in the middle of the Ubud CBD. The rooms are basic but cheap. There was an air conditioner in the room and the wi fi was good. The bathroom wasn't so good. The shower was cold and the sink leaked all over the bathroom floor. But I was happy to overlook this due to the cheap price of the rooms.

While the location is excellent, the accommodation was very basic. My rooms had no top sheets, also no towel or toilet paper or soap. Bad smells, like septic. Hard to find staff.

Everything was great! Staff were friendly and amazing! They even own a shop right behind the property so I was able to pick up some cute dresses and tops! Thanks for making me feel welcome!

It was peaceful and quiet. The property is traditional decorated with ponds, fountains plants making it feel like a secret secluded getaway.

Arrived at 4:30 pm, the hotel was empty, no staff around. Waited a long time, a janitor showed up. Nobody around when I would like to check out. The bedding is a bit old.

I recently stayed at Aurora House Ubud and had a pleasant experience. As someone who doesn’t have high standards and just needs a place to stay, I was quite happy with my choice. The property looked good. I don't spend much time in my room, so I found everything to be satisfactory for my needs. The accommodation provided a comfortable and suitable place for my stay.

This was a wonderful family property and I felt safe and comfortable here. I would say it’s a 2 star hotel and it was affordable. If you have a lot of luggage or if you want to be driven in a car to the door, this is not a place for you.

This property is an absolute steal considering how much you will save on transportation if you're someone who doesnt mind walking a few km here and there. There are many places to shop and eat, some critically acclaimed,and some secret gems. The hotel itself is located down a friendly market alley where welcoming vendors are set up along the sides. The personnel on site are awesome and Manek, their driver, offers very honest prices, and will share his knowledge with you along the way, like an impromptu tour guide without the hefty pricetag. His car is new, clean, and hes a great driver. He is also deeply rooted in the ubud community, and can make recommendations if you need. I would choose nowhere else to stay. That being said, the room had a very slight odor, which seems normal to many places in Bali because of the humidity. All in all, aurora house can offer you a room for a great price in an amazing location, and hospitality that money can't buy. Five stars for the heart and vibe.
