Ubud Ràfting

Before rafting, you'll put on a life vest and helmet. After a short drive, you'll need to climb many stairs, both up and down, to reach the rafting area, so you'll likely be out of breath and sweating. The actual rafting lasts about an hour and a half, with a 30-minute break in the middle where you can buy drinks (NT$120). Afterward, there's lunch, which is decent. I recommend sitting in the front left for the best photos, as you won't be blocked. There will be people taking photos and videos at various spots, and at the end, they'll ask if you want to buy the video and photos for around NT$800, which is quite expensive. I suggest splitting the cost with your rafting companions to make it more affordable. This was my first time rafting, and it wasn't too scary or prone to capsizing; it was genuinely thrilling and fun! I'd definitely want to go again!

We had the most amazing time water rafting Ayung River and visiting the waterfalls with our driver Purna who was so patient and accommodating to our needs. He never said no to our requests even if it was for coffee or having lunch that was not on the itinerary. He never asked for anything in return and he was genuinely willing to show us and make us feel how Balinese people are. Thank you Purna and for everything you did for us! We really really enjoyed our tour with you!!!! Highly recommended to anybody looking for a good tour guide in Bali! And also a good bonus he is a very good photographer and videographer! 🫶🏼♥️

What a day! Made made sure we had the most wonderful day! He was very friendly, super helpful and had all the local knowledge. We started the day with Cave tubing, the team there were brilliant and made sure we had an exciting time while making us feel safe and welcomed. we enjoyed a spot of lunch then headed to a Luwak coffee plantation where we got to sample some Cat-Poo-Chinnos XD Again the staff were friendly warm and knowledgeable, we even got to try the Bali swings! We then finished the day with a tour of the Rice fields, again Made had all the local knowledge and we so enjoyed chatting with him. Today was my favourite day and I deeply recommend this activity!

So, if you’re planning a trip to Bali and want to try something beyond temples, rice terraces, and cafés, I’d definitely recommend adding Ayung River rafting to your itinerary. It’s an adventure worth trying!

It was truly so much fun. I feel like it's a must-do experience if you come to Bali. Honestly, I thought it might be a bit difficult since I have a child, so I was originally going to choose Mason, but I ended up booking here instead. The start time didn't differ much from Mason's, and we got to ride for longer! While I saw many other tours stopping at strange places for breaks, we rested at the very best spot. The price difference compared to Mason was huge, and I am truly, super-duper satisfied. I was really worried about the shower facilities, but they were so clean. The showers were my biggest concern, so I had planned to just rinse off roughly, and I regretted not bringing anything with me ;; Since there are no pictures of the place here, I'm uploading a photo of the shower room!!!

Everything is arranged perfectly. I went as a solo female traveler and I was bervous at first for doing tubing alone but Tara Experiences provided me a tour guide who joined me and he helped me and took photos of me. It was a fun and safe for women who are doing solo traveling. The meal and drinks after the activity is also good! 🫶🏻🌸 Thank you for making my tubing experience fun and memorable! 🌷

I picked Mason among all operators due to their supreme facilities! tho Mason charge more than some operators but I find its value for moeny!! first their building for lunch and changing room is super nice and modern and our guide Monkey (he said call him monkey :-) he is super experienced and made our first rafting experience an amazing one!! they have a longer route compared to other operators and 2 hours rafting turned out so much fun!! they have a photo video for most of our rafting experience and I find it worthy to buy to recall our beautiful memories!! I highly recommend whoever looking for good rafting experiences to go with Mason!! especially you can enjoy a hot shower in clean shower room !!

It was great that the guide spoke Korean well. The day before the tour, they contacted me via WhatsApp, and I sent them my pickup location. They arrived right on time. I really appreciated that they spoke Korean so well and drove comfortably. We did rafting with a different company, and the rest of the tours were with our guide. The itinerary was flexible and could be adjusted. I think this would be a great choice for Koreans.
