The location is excellent, right next to the Mandarin Oriental Hotel. The staff are very lovely and friendly. The room is very spacious, and the price is affordable compared to other hotels of similar room size. There's a convenience store right in front, and you just need to cross the street to find it. Overall, I'm impressed and will definitely come back again.

Every time I visit Taipei, I try different cultural and creative hotels near the train station, and this one truly comes with my heartfelt recommendation! The overall style is small yet beautiful, with a bright, artsy decor. As soon as you step into the lobby, you're greeted by a subtle, pleasant essential oil aroma that isn't overpowering. For someone like me, who is prone to allergies, the air quality here gets full marks. The front desk staff also showed exceptional friendliness. Here are some of the most surprising highlights of my stay: • Excellent Facilities: I was surprised to find a treadmill for workouts, and there's a water dispenser in the lobby for hydration, which is super convenient for business travelers or those with an exercise routine. • Fantastic Self-Service Bar: Free toast, popcorn, and tea bags – a truly generous offering to satisfy your hunger anytime. • Thoughtful Touches: There are plenty of toys for children to play with, and they even provided earplugs, which I really needed. So generous and considerate! • A Must-Visit for Bear Lovers: The entire place has a bear-themed decor, and you absolutely must get the high-quality bear plushie for 99 NTD from the gift shop – it's incredible value for money. Whether you're traveling solo or with children, the thoughtfulness and amenities here far exceeded my expectations. It's an excellent accommodation choice near the train station!

Opened in 2023, Taipei Jiantan Pulu Hotel is conveniently located near Jiantan MRT Station, meaning it's not far from Shilin Night Market. It offers underground parking for compact cars (with a height limit of 1.9 meters), and the rooms are brand new. Plus, there's a women's large public bath, and with its affordable prices, it's definitely an excellent choice in Taipei City!

the room was clean and organized upon check in. staff are nice and kind enough to answer questions. location is nice since it’s near taipei main station and some restaurants and stores. a few minutes walk to ximending. bed was very comfortable for me. for the price, it was good enough!

Staying at the Grand Hotel Taipei felt like stepping into living history. It is one of those rare places where the walls seem as though they could speak. The hotel carries a remarkable sense of gravity and connection to the past, while still being exceptionally clean and well maintained. I would especially like to thank Jenny at reception. My Chinese is quite poor, but she was incredibly patient in helping me choose the right room. She was also very understanding of my grandmother’s mobility issues and took the time to tailor her recommendations thoughtfully and professionally. In an era where genuine customer service feels increasingly rare, Jenny was exemplary. In fact, she is the reason I felt compelled to leave this review, which is something I do not usually do. Thank you for such a memorable stay.

Hotel Location: Very convenient, right above Taipei Main Station Exit Z2/Z4, just behind the Shin Kong Mitsukoshi department store. Transportation Convenience: Located right at Taipei Main Station, with multiple MRT transfer lines and bus stops, making it extremely convenient. Cleanliness: The staff does an excellent job with cleaning. However, perhaps due to high humidity and the older building, there are always a few small insects in the room.

The location is incredibly convenient. You can take the hotel elevator directly to the first basement level, which leads to a food court and provides access to the MRT. Additionally, a room key card is required to access the hotel floors via the elevator, making it both convenient and very secure! Even the most affordable rooms are very spacious! Besides a large bed, there's also a sofa bed, a wardrobe large enough for carry-on luggage, and a very spacious bathroom that could even accommodate several more suitcases! The rooftop garden is average, with some common plants, but the space is small and the view is unremarkable. The gym is tiny, with only a few treadmills. What was truly impressive was the thoughtfully designed room key card holder: the back features a map of Taipei Main Station and the hotel's vicinity, and all facility operating hours are clearly listed inside. It's very practical!

The hotel is conveniently located near MRT stations (Taipei Main/NTU Hospital for red line and Beimen/Ximen for green line). It is also a short distance walk to main tourist sites like Ximending district, CKS Memorial Hall, and Presidential Office Bldg. The room is not big nor too small. Just enough to fit two luggages. They also have buffet breakfast with many dishes to choose and every day they change the main courses. Added to the good food, the drinks are unlimited all day every day!
