Tours de Lake Pukaki

Highly recommended itinerary! 👍👍 The birthplace of bungee jumping was closed due to snow, so we immediately rerouted to the Kawarau Gorge Suspension Bridge lookout. We passed through a fruit town, visited Lindis Pass, and had lunch at a salmon farm, where there were many delicious meal options. We saw the milky blue Lake Pukaki and finally arrived at Mount Cook to see the Tasman Glacier, marveling at the beauty and grandeur of nature. The entire round trip was about 11 hours. A big thank you to our private guide, Vera, for the full tour, photos, and explanations. This is a highly recommended itinerary and set of attractions.

Va ser una experiència increïble. Andy va ser un gran guia i operador turístic: va compartir molts fets històrics sobre Nova Zelanda i el Mont Cook (Aoraki). Ens va donar recomanacions sobre quines rutes de senderisme fer, va tenir una bona gestió del temps; va ser un viatge llarg però molt còmode i instructiu. Les vistes del llac Pukaki i Aoraki i els seus voltants són impressionants, val la pena fer l'excursió d'un dia.

De totes maneres, em vaig unir al tour de Mount Cook i la glacera Tasman. Vam fer un parell de parades on vam poder fer fotos i selfies, especialment durant el trajecte cap a Mount Cook. La vista allà era simplement increïble! També va compartir la història de l'ovella Shrek. Es van proporcionar aperitius i aigua, i ens va mantenir ben alimentats i hidratats. No puc recomanar prou Cheeky Kiwi Travel, i especialment en Jason, que va fer que el viatge, nosaltres els seus passatgers, fos segur, relaxat i gaudíssim de tota aquesta excursió. M'ha encantat el viatge. Vam tenir prou temps per fer moltes fotos sense sentir-nos apressats a cada lloc d'interès. Malauradament, vaig anar per un camí equivocat i no vaig veure la glacera. En general, diria que el guia turístic és molt coneixedor. Va tenir cura de tothom durant el viatge, així que el recomano molt si voleu fer una excursió de Queenstown a Tekapo. We booked a Queenstown to Christchurch transfer tour for June 26th. From the start, communication was seamless; the reception team quickly answered all pre-trip questions and sent helpful safety reminders. Everything was perfectly well-prepared. The driving was exceptionally safe. Our morning guide was high-energy, sharing great local stories. The guides clearly love their jobs and the NZ landscape, taking us to secret viewpoints with plenty of photo time. Their boss even called ahead during the trip to check road conditions after recent snow—a thoughtful touch. They also saved our day at Mt Cook by providing ice spikes when we realized our running shoes weren't enough, alongside water and snacks. The transition to the next leg was seamless. The lady who took over was highly responsible, ensuring we forgot nothing and waiting with us. Finally, our Christchurch driver safely dropped everyone off right at their respective hotels on time.
