Coses per fer a Fukuoka Prefecture

This is our first time to explore Fukuoka and we have an amazing experience visiting Mount Aso, Kusasenri and the gorgeous Takachiho Gorge. We also like to thank our very experienced tour guide , Ada Wong for being so helpful and professional throughout the whole day tour. Buying tickets online in advance is very convenient, as the on-site ticket lines are very long. When the staff saw that I had an electronic voucher, they told me to go straight to the entrance to scan the QR code, and getting in was very fast. The kids had a great time. We bought ice cream with a souvenir cup and chose the limited-edition design, which the kids loved. Since it was close to Halloween, there was a stamp rally event where kids could scare the staff to earn a stamp; after collecting five stamps, they could go to the information desk to exchange them for a large sticker, and the kids were thrilled. In a pink shop (I don't know the name of the shop, but it sells little girls' accessories, shopping bags, etc.), with a purchase of 2,500 yen or more, children could get their nails painted for free, which made them very happy. The nail polish washed off pretty much after taking a bath. An unforgettable memory, highly recommended.

The baby seals and dolphins are so cute and smart, I totally fell in love with them and even watched their show twice! Aside from them, there are also sharks, penguins, turtles, and many other aquatic animals. The admission fee is very reasonable, and there is a souvenir shop as well. Anyone visiting Fukuoka should definitely not forget to check out Marine World.

Tour guide Ms. Kong was humorous, engaging, and very knowledgeable about local customs and traditions. The driver was extremely polite and friendly, and greeted every passenger each time we got off the bus! Everything has returned to normal following the Kumamoto earthquakes! Sightseeing and tourism are completely fine, there aren't many tourists, and the attractions are very pleasant to walk around. Joining a day tour when traveling independently allows you to visit many places that are inconvenient to reach by public transportation! The itinerary was Aso Kusasenri -> Kamishikimi Kumanoimasu Shrine -> Takachiho Torokko Train -> Takachiho Gorge stroll. The Takachiho Torokko Train requires an additional payment of 2,300 yen per person! The weather was still quite hot in late October, so everything was lush and green, but the local scenery was great to see! Kamishikimi Kumanoimasu Shrine was my absolute favorite—it has such an amazing atmosphere!

La reserva per sorteig amb dues setmanes d'antelació feia pensar que hi hauria molta gent, però en arribar vam comprovar que el control de la multitud era excel·lent, sense cap pressió per fer cues, i l'experiència de la visita va ser molt còmoda. Tot i que la Torre de Fukuoka no és l'edifici més alt que hem conquerit, les vistes panoràmiques des d'aquesta torre de vidre no tenen res a envejar a cap fita coneguda. La llum del sol banya el mar llunyà, els edificis de la ciutat, els viaductes, i a prop, els arbres frondosos, juntament amb uns impressionants núvols de tempesta, fan que tot el paisatge urbà de Fukuoka es pugui contemplar, la qual cosa és realment refrescant. Cada vegada que visitem una ciutat nova, pujar a l'edifici més alt del lloc és una tradició de viatge que el meu fill i jo sempre hem mantingut. Aquesta vegada, a la Torre de Fukuoka, veure'l caminar emocionat davant de les grans finestres de terra a sostre em va fer sentir que aquest hàbit havia afegit un altre bonic record familiar. Si també teniu previst venir a Fukuoka, us recomano sincerament incloure la Torre de Fukuoka al vostre itinerari. Recordeu fer la reserva en línia amb antelació (sistema de sorteig); les bones vistes valen l'espera i, sobretot, val la pena experimentar-les en persona.

We really enjoyed the tour. Very informative, Nicole shared the traditions and cultures especially in Daizafu Shrine. Kirin lake is very magical. We just hope the time is longer for each spot so you can enjoy leisurely.

we had KC for our tour, she is amazing, speaks many language and knows very well Fukuoka and the surrounding. I think she is also a foodie, gave us great recommendation for places to eat during our time in the city. Unforyunately, our tour was done during a rainy day but KC and our bus driver did their best to show us what to do in these situation

We arrived early at the Kumamoto Station Shinkansen West Exit to meet up. Our tour guide, Sun Peng, came over to gather the group. Since we were carrying luggage and planning to leave the tour in Kurokawa, the guide proactively asked if we had already arranged our hotel pick-up and drop-off. Although we could have arranged it ourselves, he went ahead and did it for us. Since Kurokawa has multiple parking lots, as a tourist, it would have been difficult to clearly communicate the exact pick-up spot with the hotel. Thumbs up for the guide's thoughtfulness! It was a gorgeous sunny day, and every scenic spot made for great photos. As a tourist, the experience was fantastic. Guide Sun also helped take photos for everyone, kept the commentary along the way witty and humorous, took meticulous care of us, and reminded us in advance of important points to keep in mind during the sightseeing. This trip is a great one-day tour option, much more convenient than planning and executing it yourself, and I highly recommend it!

An absolutely wonderful tour! The first stop was Dazaifu Tenmangu Shrine, with an 80-minute stay. It takes about half an hour to walk through the shrine grounds, where you can pray for good fortune or buy some lucky charms. The small street in front of the shrine has many great little shops; whether it's local snacks, souvenirs, the Sumikkogurashi specialty store, or the unique Starbucks, everything is very interesting and well worth spending some time exploring. Next was the Beppu Ropeway, with a 60-minute stop. The cable car ride up the mountain takes about 10 minutes, offering beautiful scenery along the way. It's a bit cooler at the top, so you should keep that in mind. When we went up, it happened to be foggy, so we couldn't see the view below, but walking along the mountain trails in the fog was still a lot of fun. We had nearly two hours in Yufuin. Starting from Lake Kinrin and slowly walking back, there are so many small shops to browse and shop at, as well as plenty of interesting snacks. Even though no lunch time was scheduled, eating and browsing our way through Yufuin turned out to be a fantastic experience. On the way back, we rode the Yufuin no Mori train. Although you can't see much of the scenery at night, it gives you more leisure time, and the seats on the train are more spacious, making it easy to use the restroom and much more comfortable to rest. It's a great choice.
