Kyoto: Cerimònia privada del te, cal·ligrafia i experiència amb quimono

This was the perfect experience for our group, especially since we were traveling with a 5-year-old. We were able to have a private tea ceremony, which made the experience feel even more special and relaxed. We were also about five minutes late, and Airi and Yu were incredibly accommodating and gracious about it, which we really appreciated. We had such a great time learning how to make matcha tea and trying Japanese calligraphy. Airi and Yu were both so welcoming, patient, and kind. Yu even spent time playing with our 5-year-old, which was such a thoughtful gesture and made the experience enjoyable for everyone. They also took lots of photos of us afterward in our kimonos, which was such a nice touch and gave us beautiful memories from the experience. Such a fun and memorable way to experience Japanese culture in Kyoto. Highly recommend!

This was the best cultural experience we had in Japan! 🇯🇵✨ We experienced many Japanese cultural activities during our trip, but this was definitely our favorite. ❤️ We especially loved that it was completely private. 🥰 It was just us, so we could relax, take our time, and ask as many questions as we wanted. Our host was incredibly knowledgeable and made us feel very welcome. 🍵🇯🇵 We had tried another tea ceremony before, but it lasted only about 10 minutes and felt very rushed. This experience was completely different! Our host spent a full 90 minutes with us and truly cared about making it special. ❤️ We also loved trying Japanese calligraphy for the first time and learning how to write our names in Japanese. 🖌️✨ Choosing our favorite kimono was also so much fun! 👘 We had plenty of time to take photos and videos, which made the experience even more memorable. 📸🎥 It’s a wonderful way to experience authentic Japanese culture. ✨

This was our best experience in Kyoto! The session took place in a wonderful atmosphere. We felt completely at ease, were encouraged to ask questions, and everything was explained at a relaxed pace. The kimonos were absolutely beautiful! We learned how to prepare matcha and wrote our names in kanji. We even received some small souvenirs❤️ Thank you for the time you spent with us—we highly recommend this to everyone!

It was much more that we expected! Hosts were very welcoming and nice and speak very good English. Good explanation of tea ceremony answered all our questions and machan tasted really good, also tha calligraphy part was nice and fun to do.

We had a truly wonderful tea ceremony and enjoyed every moment! A lovely young couple hosted the experience beautifully. Everything was incredibly well-organized, thoughtful, and full of delightful surprises. The hospitality was warm and welcoming, and you could really feel the care and effort they put into every detail. The location is excellent, very close to Kyoto Station. Highly recommended! The calligraphy and kimono experiences were also wonderful.

If I could give this experience 100 stars, I would. The hosts were absolutely fantastic. My wife and I were kindly and respectfully fitted into the Kimonos of our choice. They then taught us how to make ceremonial grade matcha and gave us a brief lesson on the history behind the tradition. It was informative, interactive and delicious! The calligraphy portion of the experience totally blew us away. I’d rather not spoil the whole experience, just know that this is such an elevated and intimate experience that you can’t miss it. Thank you to the hosts, I hope for only good fortune for the two of you!

Bardzo polecamy te atrakcje! Zostaliśmy bardzo ciepło przyjęci. Piękne miejsce do zdjęć. Duży wybór kimono. Doświadczenie robienia i picia matcha w takim miejscu było cudowne. Kaligrafia też zrobila na nas wrażenie. Myśleliśmy że to łatwiejsze. Po wszystkim dostajecie w prezencie Wasze kartki. Bez problemu po angielsku się porozumiecie.

Highly recommend this book immersive experience. We booked it for family of 4 and everyone came out so happy with this authentic experience. The hosts are very kind and knowledgeable. In beautiful hand picked Kimonos, we enjoyed the Tea ceremony and calligraphy and a fun photoshoot…They speak fluent english as well.
