Kyoto: Tour a peu guiat per Izakaya i Pub Crawl

We really enjoyed our food tour with Naoya. His excellent food choices and knowledge of the local area made it a wonderful experience. There was plenty of food and a good variety, Noaya was very attentive, interesting and easy to chat to, the perfect guide. We definitely recommend.

We had such a fun night with Naoya wandering through Shirakawa Lane and Pontocho Alley. Fab food with some dishes that we've never had before, but are now firm favourites. Excellent sake tasting at the end of the night. Naoya was a delight. Very generous with his time and knowledge. Can highly recommend Naoya and this tour. Really good value for money as well!

We were notified a day in advance that our guide was unable to attend our tour and that we would be provided with a refund, which is fine and allowed us time to plan something else. However, our intended guide, Uta, went above and beyond, reaching out personally to apologise (as she was unwell) and provided us with a list of restaurants and bar recommendations. Thanks again, Uta! We tried a few of those, and they were fantastic! Some of the bars are quite tucked away, so I doubt we would have found them on our own.

My husband and I had a great time with Uta for our Gion food tour. We enjoyed learning from her and asking her lots of questions. She called the food "mom's food" and we really enjoyed trying and learning about traditional Kyoto style cooking. Highly recommend!!

The tour was very good! We shared Phone Numbers with the guide for tips and she offerd her help if we had questions when we were in Japan. Seemd a very nice lady. 2 days after she asked us for money… very strange.

We had a great time on this tour. our guide, Naoya was very friendly, knowledgeable and the best part of the tour because he shared so much culture with us. The food and drinks were also amazing! Highly recommend.

Nous avons passé une superbe soirée en compagnie de notre guide Momo, qui était ultra sympathique et qui parlait très bien anglais. Nous sommes allés dans 2,restaurants pour goûter toute sorte de spécialités japonaises et nous avons tout aimé. Le rapport qualité prix est vraiment excellent. Je recommande vivement!

Absolutely incredible night with Uta! 🌟 She took us to this hidden gem of a traditional Japanese home that’s been turned into a restaurant—super authentic Kyoto vibes and the food was next level. Every dish was amazing, and it felt like a real locals-only kind of spot we never would’ve found on our own. After dinner, she took us to a few bars for drinks—each one had its own unique feel, and the drinks were spot on. Uta is just such a lovely person—easy to talk to, very friendly , great English, super chill and easy to be around. Felt like hanging out with a friend who knows all the best places. Couldn’t recommend her enough. One of our favourite nights in Japan.

It was a great experience! It was like going out to eat with friends! We were able to try foods and drinks we would have been to nervous or even known to try on our own.
