The shop’s easy to find, right by the street and close to Gion. I went early and was the first customer — definitely come in the morning because choosing your kimono takes time. They have tons of options, and the staff are so kind and efficient. Dressing up took less than ten minutes, and they even do hair and makeup on-site. The hairstyles are cute and quick, and you can pick accessories, a matching bag and sandals too. I picked a white-and-gold set, which looked elegant but blended into the background a bit, so my tip is to go bold with colour — it really pops in photos! Great value for money and such a fun Kyoto must-do.

i can tell their kimono’s collections are the prettiest. i randomly chose this one and turns out fit perfectly in me. reasonable prices. the workers also speak chinese so well and super friendly

I had an amazing kimono experience and truly enjoyed every moment of it. The staff were very helpful and made the process easy, from choosing the kimono to getting dressed properly. The designs were beautiful, and wearing it made me feel immersed in Japanese culture. It was a memorable and unique experience that I would highly recommend to anyone visiting Japan. Staff were nice and helpful, I definitely recommend this rental place.

Such a lovely experience! The staff took care of absolutely everything for us, from dressing and styling to making sure everything looked perfect. Everyone was so sweet, friendly, and welcoming the entire time. They made the whole experience feel easy and fun, and the kimonos were beautiful. I also appreciated that they offer plus size options. It's my 2nd time in Kyoto and I got to experience dressing up in Kimono and have a professional take my photos. It's a great experience with the professonal staff of MOCOMOCO. Had a hard time choosing kimonos with the wide variety of style to choose from. My hair was beautifully done. Our photo session was enjoyable and we do not need to think about our poses as the photographer will guide you. They will also take you to photo spots that is not crowded to the point that we had the place by ourselves. I booked a 3pm photo session btw. Our photos will say it all.

在Klook上預定好並付款，省去跟店員斡旋或討價還價的時間。當天到了就可以直接選服裝、頭飾、包包等。這家和服店的衣服都很新。我們的體驗是包括髮型的，感覺很不錯。

Super friendly and hospitable staff, they speak english & chinese. Reasonably priced and they have quite a lot of kimono to select from. They were super fast, within 30mins after we selected our kimono they did our hair and dressed us up. They even have yukata for men. My husband was quite big size and they even had sizes for him. Good that hey were very size inclusive 👍

Absolutely amazing kimono shop! the service was fast, efficient, staff meme era were super friendly and happy. The kimono, accessories and hair styles selection was superb. The lovely ladies managed to get us ready within 30 minutes which is very fast. the hair was so pretty and lasted all day. My friend forgot her money in one of the bags and the stuff were so lovely to assist to find it. Couldn’t recommend this shop enough! And it’s in a great location near the bus stops and local attractions

Me and my boyfriend booked the 'couples plan' and even though it was heavily raining that day, the kimono rental was a very unique experience. You get to choose from a wide selection of different Kimonos and other acessories that go with them. Also for the hairstyle, you can choose from six different models. Once you chose your kimono, they help you dress in a seperate room, all in a very gentle and respectful way. I felt very comfortable during the whole process and was beyond happy with the result. For me, it was like I was living my japanese Bridgerton moment right there and then. I would 100% do it again and I can only recommend you to try it too!
