I can’t say enough good things about our guide Conor. He was at our hotel early to meet us and wait for the van. He was very friendly and asked about the rest of our stay in Hanoi, offering suggestions for the times we haven’t planned yet. During the Museum tour he was very knowledgeable throughout, was always able to offer interesting stories or bits of information, and avoided some of the redundant parts while putting more focus on significant events and displays. After giving us the history in each area he provided us time to view the pictures and artifacts on our own which lended more impact to the displays. He answered all of our questions very well, even those not directly related to the museums contents and he gave bits of additional information that made us want to research and keep learning about the subjects even after. highly recommend this tour, our guide, and the museum in general. Try to avoid days with school groups and if you do it in the afternoon definitely go into the museum first to avoid the hot sun during the outdoor displays.

The tour was really great and worth it. I booked it for my family of 13 people (senior citizens included). They picked us up from our hotel, it was part of the Military Museum and Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum Tour package. Our tour guide was also great, really nice & accommodating. Easy contact and responsive contact via WhatsApp too. We asked them to drop us off at Train street and they agreed. This tour made our trip to Hanoi worth it!

Wished the tour was longer because it was super interesting! The Military History museum building is incredible, would definitely visit it again if we ever return to Hanoi. Paul was an excellent guide, very friendly and knowledgeable, and he was able to share highlights of Vietnam's history in a fun and memorable way - his history teacher mom would be proud 😆👍 (we still remember that chinese invaders were defeated thrice in the same river). The mausoleum was closed to visitors when we got there and we had a 30min wait time to get in, Paul took us to a place where we could view beautiful silk embroidery and get free tasting of some lotus tea and weasel coffee. Overall it was a great experience and would 100% recommend.

This tour gave us a glimpse of the history of vietnam from the perspective of its people. Levy is great guide. He knows the history well and he speaks english fluently. He answers our questions intelligently. This tour is a must for history nerds like us and for those who want to know more about Vietnam's history, best told by its own people.

We booked the private toue (2 people) and it was a very good experience for us. There was a mishap as the military museum was closed when we got there but the tour company was quick to offer us an alternative plus a reschedule of the tour. Mike (our guide) was very knowledgeable and friendly. Overall, this is a very good value for money.

This tour is truly memorable! The military museum amazed me, it’s fantastic. It’s the largest and most modern museum I’ve ever visited. Visitors can almost touch every plane on display here. Our guide, Levy, is very professional and friendly. He patiently answered all our questions about Vietnam’s history, even when I thought some of them were challenging. The Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum is also very beautiful and rich in historical value. Overall, this is a must-try tour, and I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to learn about Vietnam's cultural history in a short time.

This was such an amazing trip! Levy is very knowledgeable and enthusiastic; he was able to answer all our questions about Vietnam. The National Military Museum is truly incredible, it's massive and features a wide range of military equipment, providing unique evidence of Vietnam's wars to defend the nation. It's also one of the largest museums I’ve ever visited. Highly recommend this trip!

Visiting the Military History Museum and Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum was a really meaningful experience. The museum was interesting, with lots to see, and the outdoor area with the planes and tanks was pretty cool. Only downside was the crowds—people can be quite noisy at times, which takes away a bit from the atmosphere. There are also strict rules and some waiting in line.
