Vam reservar el Viva Old Manila Walking Tour a través de Klook i vam tenir una gran experiència. El nostre guia, Russell, era increïblement coneixedor i informatiu, compartint històries fascinants i coneixements històrics durant tot el recorregut. Vam visitar 8 parades per Intramuros, i cada lloc tenia la seva pròpia història i significat únics. El que més vaig apreciar va ser com Russell va connectar les històries amb l'actual Manila, fent el recorregut alhora atractiu i educatiu. Altament recomanable per a qualsevol que visiti Manila i vulgui obtenir una comprensió més profunda de la rica història i cultura de la ciutat.
Un gran agraïment al nostre increïble guia turístic, Cedhie. Va ser increïblement complaent. Es va coordinar amb nosaltres per WhatsApp i ens va permetre canviar la data, i el recorregut en si va valer cada cèntim. Cedhie és extremadament pacient, amable i molt informatiu. Va portar una tauleta per mostrar-nos fotos històriques i vistes aèries de com era la zona als anys 30, fent que la història de Fort Santiago i Intramuros cobrés vida. Vam poder explorar llocs emblemàtics preciosos, incloses les portes històriques de Fort Santiago i la impressionant Catedral de Manila. També es va assegurar que estiguéssim ben atesos durant tot el passeig. Si visiteu Manila, aquest recorregut a peu és absolutament imprescindible.
The tour was very worth it! We did it under a scorching heat but it was bearable because Russell ( the tour guide) was so amazing and knowledgeable. as a Filipino, it was really good to be re-educated about PH history and as for my non- Filipino partner, he appreciated knowing more about my roots and especially knowing bits and pieces of what happened in the past. El recorregut a peu per Intramuros va ser molt divertit i ens va ajudar a aprendre molt sobre la història de les Filipines i d'Intramuros. El temps no era massa calorós i era bastant agradable. Steve is a great guide! He's knowledgeable and dynamic and very engaging. We had such a great time learning about Intramuros, Firt Santiago, Jose Rizal, WW2, Manila Cathedral (and its 8 builds!), and San Agustim Church. We love him so much!
