I planned a summer vacation trip to Hokkaido, and the hotel was less than a 5-minute walk from Sapporo Station. The room was clean, and the breakfast buffet we ordered was very satisfying for everyone in my group. The staff were also very friendly.

Although it's an older hotel, everything was good overall. The service and breakfast were excellent. It truly lives up to its reputation as a hotel where the Emperor once stayed. It will be closing next year for major renovations, so we came to stay. This is also one of the settings from my first love.

Overall, I had a pleasant stay. The hotel is clean and well-maintained. It may be a bit dated, and it still uses traditional room keys but that wasn't an issue for me. The staff were attentive, friendly. My room was comfortable and had everything I needed. One interesting feature was the traditional Japanese buckwheat hull pillow. A brief explanation would be helpful. Amenities include complimentary use of microwaves and ice machines, plus coin-operated washers and dryers. Detergent can be purchased from the front desk. The location is excellent in Susukino, close to train, bus, and tram stations, restaurants, and shops. The airport limousine bus stop to the airport is directly across from the hotel, while arrival stops are a short walk away. My only suggestion is to clarify the housekeeping policy. I learned that room cleaning must be requested, although fresh towels and trash collection are easily handled by leaving them outside the door in the morning.

You can feel the silence part of Sapporo when you stay at the hotel. ln the other side, you can still find a lot of convience stores around for your needs.

Transportation Access: Excellent. It's about a 5-minute walk straight to the subway station. Breakfast: Incredibly delicious! Every single item was so tasty it made me smile. The only downside was eating so much for breakfast that I had no room for lunch. It was also great that the breakfast options changed slightly between the first and second nights! I didn't get bored! By the way, the seafood bowl is a super tiny, one-bite portion. Even though it's small, it's incredibly delicious, so feel free to have as many as you like. I highly recommend making it into ochazuke (rice with tea). Cleanliness: Good. There were no particularly dusty areas. The bath and toilet are in the same room. It seems you can request cleaning if needed. Service: Average. There were only enough cups for the number of people in the room, so I wished there were more cups for tea, especially since there's a kettle and tea bags provided. Also, we didn't need it, but there might not be a safe. We couldn't find one even after everyone searched, though it's possible we just missed it. Bath towels and hand towels are replaced daily for each night's stay. There was no complimentary bottled water. There is a refrigerator. We stayed for two nights, and we didn't encounter any major issues, so I think it was fine. Hotel Location: Depends on what you prioritize. Susukino itself isn't particularly safe at night, so the safety aspect is just okay. There are often hosts or hostesses from clubs loitering in front of the entrance. However, it's close to the station, and as soon as you step outside, you're in the bar district, so it's very convenient. Don't worry, we weren't bothered by any touts. There were no problems walking around at night and returning from drinks. There were no photos of the hotel at all, so the two photos besides the food are from my trip to Otaru, haha.

酒店地點：the venue is super convenient, just close to Tanuki shopping street, the downside is the room is small and expensive not that cost-effective, still it is clean and tidy

The rooms at the Nankan Hotel are neat and clean, and it doesn't feel too cramped even with luggage open. The soundproofing is excellent, and the cotton slippers provided by the hotel are of very good quality, though the view is only of nearby buildings. The CTS airport bus goes directly to the hotel entrance, and it's close to Nijo Market, the Clock Tower, and Odori Park. The breakfast selection is very rich, with options to make your own ramen, and staff on hand to prepare omelets and seared salmon roe bowls.

our second time in Karaksa chain. the come on is the public bath. in sapporo, they have free drinks, snacks and ice cream unlimited.

It is very close to Sapporo Station, and luggage storage is available. The desk next to the bed is very large and great for putting food or souvenirs purchased during the trip. There is also a long bench next to it where two people can sit at the same time, and I really like this design.
