Kyoto Gion & Pontocho Half-Day Hidden Gems Food Tour

Absolutely worse tour I have experienced. The tour was scheduled to start at 6pm and on arriving we were informed that Nishiki market closes at 6pm which was going to be the highlight of this tour. As a first time visitor we were not aware of timing of the market. The entire 4 hour tour was done at Kyoto Train station. It was clearly evident that our guide had no knowledge about the food scene. He was looking things up on google as he was going. For a tour that cost almost $550 for 2 people it was worst value for money. Recommend avoiding at all cost. We take 2-3 international trips a year and have booked several tours but rarely had a bad experience.
