Cam Kim Island Bicycle Tour

Ms Tin was a great tour guide - she shared a lot of local information about what we saw and life in Hoi An. I loved bike riding around the more rural side of Hoi An and seeing the traditional crafts. We were able to try different foods that are not available in restaurants and cafe which made it a more unique experience.

We love this cycling tour. Only 2 of us so became a private tour! The lady guide is very knowledgeable and passionate. People from the village are very friendly!

Amazing personalised tour for the two of us. Tour guide, Fletcher is very personal and has extensive knowledge of the local culture. His good relationships with the locals on cam kim island allowed us to glean a lot more of what the locals do on the island. He is also very hospitable and always enthusiastic to share more about Vietnam. We loved this little getaway from the bustling old town in Hoi an.

Great experience cycling through the city and country areas. We cycled to the basket boats did the ride and came back. Guide was very helpful to take pictures and stop along the way as well.

I feel so lucky to join this bike tour. My two friends from Sweden and the same group all praised the guide Barry Huy. You simply feel like a good friend who has already known you and is very kind and approachable. The cycling of Canaan Island is actually designed so that it is thoughtful. First, take a bike to the pier, and then take the boat to the island. There are different activities while walking on the island. The first is to introduce the manufacturing of ships in close isolation, and then there are straw mats, rice wine, spring rolls, and rice noodles. Residents of craftsmanship, in the end, had to take a round boat to row down the local fish farming candy. It ’s good value to describe the system with good value !! Unintentionally participating in this event, I think I am too lucky. (I wanted to upload d-phase photos, but the camera was sun-dried, and there was a computer ...)

The description is not accurate. firstly, they said to meet at 8am but the company told the tour guide to come at 830am and were not updated by this fact. Then, there was no boat building and no school visit. The redeeming point was our tour guide Tin Tin because she was friendly and a great photographer. FYI, if you’re not used to cycling on the road with vehicles, you might want to reconsider this tour because the guide goes fast and rarely looks back and the roads are packed.

slightly disappointed by this experience as it felt like the klook website promised a lot, but under-delivered. first, the meet up was actually at 8.30am, even though klook said 8am (turns out the website was not updated). second, there were no helmets provided, and it felt dangerous cycling along the busy roads of hoi an to cam kim island. third, we did not take a ferry to cam kin as mentioned earlier. we also did not learn boat making or take a basket boat (we did take a sampan-like boat though). that said, the tour guide and locals were friendly, and we got to try our hand at weaving sleeping mats and making rice paper. the tour also ended up being a private tour for the 2 of us, and the tour guide was very good at taking photos.

It was nice because it was different from the noise of Hoi An Old Town. I was able to know the lifestyle, traditional experience and culture of Hoi An residents. I don't think this is what true travel tastes like. Bicycle and boat lunch Hoi An cultural experience at an affordable price, strongly recommended.

The cycling trip is very good, you can see beautiful scenery along the way, and you can take a boat to the island, the island is another scenery, visiting the kindergarten, the children are cute and enthusiastic.

Wonderful Bicycle Tour to Cam Kim Island with our fabulous guide, Thu Nguyen. Thank you for bringing us around Cam Kim Island. You get to visit some of the dying skill in this Island. There are only 2 families in this island who still use hand-make method to make the straw mat. You get to try to weave the straw mat, and also to make rice paper; drink local rice wine. You also experience to roll the local fishing boat. Finally, go to local market to eat ‘Mi Quan’.
