What to expect
Relax after a day exploring Nepal's ancient cities or after tiresome trekking in the himalayas by indulging in a cultural dinner and dance extravaganza. This evening experience offers a dining experience at one of three renowned local eateries especially run for the dining experience with variety of authentic Nepali dishes. Delight in the robust and aromatic flavors of lamb curry, relish a serving of dal bhat – a lentil-based rice dish accompanied by pickles, meat (chicken and Wild Boar), and assorted sides – and cap it off with a taste of sweet dessert, a beloved local snack.

Even though I came alone. At 6 o'clock the dance performance still starts. And appetizers were served as soon as I arrived. The main dish I asked for was vegetarian. Overall very enjoyable. Thank you Bhojan Bhumi.
Very good food and excellent attention from the staff. Everything was very good and the experience was very pleasant.
The restaurant is in the Thamel district of Kathmandu. On the day, the travel agency staff personally picked us up at the hotel and took us to the restaurant. In addition to experiencing Nepali meals, we also tasted special rice wine and Lassi (not included in the meal and require an additional fee) while eating. Enjoy a local specialty meal while watching a performance. The performance is a cyclical performance. When the meal is almost over, you can leave on your own. It's a very special experience.
The staff and manager was nice to me. It was such awesome ideas to see them perform and share their culture to tourists like me.A Filipina yet by heart a Nepali. 😍Most of all the food was awesome, and cultural presentations was relayed through dancing based on the history of Beautiful Nepal.I will choose to enjoy this again and again. they take you to a local restaurant in Thamel where they have traditional dance performance. the food is nice. the organiser didn’t have any role as the person called me and asked me to come directly to the restaurant. that person just made money as commission for bringing us, which was a bit lame.

the rating is only because our guide Resham is really good, good behavior & attitude and very knowledgeable. He helped us book a local cab too to return to our hotel. Bhojan Bhumi can improve - toilets were dirty & not maintained. cultural show was good. the local food wasn't to our Indian palate - that's a personal opinion.
