Unwind after a day around Nepal's ancient cities with a cultural feast of dinner and dancing. This evening activity features a meal at one of three renowned local restaurants: Nepalli Chulo, Bhojan Griha or Utsav Restaurant, where you'll be served with an assortment of traditional Nepali dishes. Savor the strong and aromatic flavors of lamb curry, scoop up some dal bhat – a rice dish of lentils served with pickles, meat (or fish), and other sides – and finally get a taste of sel roti, the popular local snack. Mid-dinner, professional performers will showcase a special number featuring the Mayar (peacock) Dance, delivering you a wonderful nighttime feast in celebration of food and culture!
There is nothing that one can even mildly dislike about this place. Housed in a restored palace belonging to the Ranas, the place oozes old world charm and hospitality. The ethnic food they serve defied description; all praise will fall far short here. The traditional dances and songs serve as a refreshing interlude between the courses. Service is excellent and this place is a must visit for anyone visiting Kathmandu
After days of search for authentic Nepali food and folk dance, finally a friend of mum helped us end out trip the best way. Bhojan griha'; aamazing food, service an ambience. Right from the first step in the restaurant, you are greeted with such humbleness and are served in the best way. The cutlery and the meal makes you feel a part of the local people. If you visit Kathmandu and do not eat at Bhojan griha, YOU ARE MISSING OUT ON A LOT
great service, great entertainment, great food with generous amount. Reasonable price. Basically it's a great place if you want to experience an authentic nepali dish with tradition live music and dance.
