What to expect
Lovers of architecture and ancient civilizations will not regret a day tour to the South of Vietnam to visit the My Son Hindu Sanctuary, a cluster of partially ruined temples that have long been abandoned, though once a thriving religious site of the early Champa tribe. Recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the sanctuary features stone sculptures of Hindu deities and towers amid the tropical jungle. History buffs and furniture enthusiasts would also not want to miss the second stop of this day tour - a trip to the Kim Bong Carpentry Village via boat, a traditional yet lively village that boasts of unique carpentry styles and quality products that you could take home as souvenirs! Accompanied by a local English speaking guide, you're sure to discover much about both old and existing communities that play important roles in the development of the country. Enjoy a light lunch as you cruise back to the Nguyen Hoang Pier, from where you will board a shuttle back to your hotel in Da Nang.

I had a wonderful experience on my day trip to Mỹ Sơn Sanctuary. Everything was thoughtfully planned from start to finish. I received clear confirmation and pickup instructions ahead of time, and the driver made the journey feel safe and easy. Our guide, Hiếu, was knowledgeable, helpful, and genuinely kind. I learned so much about the local culture and the deep history of the area. The sanctuary itself was magnificent, and the local lunch included on the tour was tasty and relaxing. The group size was just right & not too big with a mix of solo travelers (like me) and pairs. From what I observed, everyone was treated kindly and taken care of. The boat ride down the river through Hoi An’s old town was such a lovely way to end the day before heading back to Da Nang. I felt safe, inspired, and enriched throughout the entire experience. Highly recommend.
Communication before departure was easy, and our guide on the day of the tour was fluent in Japanese, providing us with a lot of valuable information! We participated with our 6-year-old son, who enjoyed himself in his own way, while our elementary school-aged daughter listened with great interest to stories about Vietnamese history and carefully explored the ruins. The lunch was also delicious. Thank you very much.
Had a wonderful and memorable experience! The place and tour were enjoyable! Also, our tour guide Ms. Hannah made sure that we were having fun, safe, and comfortable. Thank you, Ms. Hannah! 🙏🇻🇳
Although we booked the day before, they arranged the tour to accommodate our requests, and it ended up being a tour for our family of four. Our guide, Kim, went out of her way to find shaded spots for us in the heat and took many photos for us! The My Son Sanctuary was even more magnificent than in pictures, and we look forward to its future restoration. We also heard interesting stories about Vietnamese history and comparisons with Angkor Wat, so I'm glad we hired a guide. Thank you for engaging with my talkative son as well!
Our guide was a woman who spoke Japanese very well. The tour group consisted of two pairs, including us, and two pairs who were only using the transfer service, so we all rode together. The air conditioning in the car on the way there was particularly strong, and it was quite cold. It was good that she explained the history and highlights of the ruins at a museum-like facility right near the entrance. Also, things like the carts and the dance seemed difficult to navigate if going alone, so taking a tour was definitely the right choice. For lunch, several kinds of Vietnamese dishes were served, and if you drank beer, there was so much food that you could barely eat any rice. The rambutan for dessert was absolutely delicious.
David is our tour guide. Good English and knowledgeable. Suggest you go to Cham museum before this tour. There is a 10 minute semi elevated walk going to the structures. Snack before going back is noodle soup with 3 options. Show is just ok.
This is a nice trip if you like historical sites. Apart from touring the historical sites, we also got to enjoy performances and local food that was included in the package. The meal was delicious. Our guide was really nice and helpful. Make sure ro bring hats or umbrellas and sunscreen if you are going in the summer.
The itinerary was very smooth, the tour guide's explanations were clear, and the group meals were also quite good. It offers great value for money!
I participated alone, but the guide was very kind. I'm not very good at speaking or understanding English. However, I was still able to understand the explanation of the ruins, which was easy to follow. There were Taiwanese and French people on the tour. I was happy that I could become friendly with them by speaking to them in broken English. I was very satisfied with the powerful ruins and the high-quality Hindu show. We traveled to Hoi An by boat. I was happy to eat delicious banh mi on the boat. I joined from Da Nang, but when I told them that I wanted to get off at Hoi An on the way back and go sightseeing, they let me off at Hoi An. I was full of anxiety before participating, but I'm really glad I did.
Such an amazing and informative trip. Minh, the tour guide is so enthusiastic and knowledgeable, giving us lots of insights about My Son Sanctuary. Highly recommend this tour to everyone!
