My guide Leoni and the driver Mbak Leni, were wonderful and accommodating throughout the trip. i am quite introverted but they filled the car ride with endless chatter, making it a comfortable one. The car ride was long, almost four hours to and fro. Mbak Leni was very skillful at driving and navigating the roads. We stopped at rest stops for toilet breaks - I would suggest going to the petrol station toilet as the rest area one is not the best. Other than that, my experience at Situ Gunung was wonderful. Leoni accompanied and helped me take photos throughout the entire experience, and everything was as described - the experiences, the good etc.
It was a private tour with the guide, Desi. She was really outgoing and took care of our welfare. She took some the rides with us and helped us with our doubts. Really enjoyed the entire tour to see a less busy side of Indonesia
Aisyah was an excellent guide. She was patient with us because our mother was a little slow in walking, she's attentive to our needs, and she explain to us fun facts about the areas. The trip itself was definitely worth is, especially if you're a nature lover. 10/10, would highly recommend!
We had the pleasure of embarking on this tour again, and were thrilled to have Aisyah as our guide once more. Her attentiveness to everyone’s physical capacity truly stands out, ensuring that all participants feel comfortable and supported throughout the journey. Fair warning—this activity involves a significant amount of walking and hiking, so be prepared for some physical effort. The suspension bridge was a breathtaking experience, offering stunning views of the surrounding natural beauty. It’s thrilling yet peaceful, a perfect combination for nature enthusiasts. The flying fox zip line was an absolute highlight! It was not only exhilarating but also memorable thanks to the GoPros provided, allowing us to capture those amazing moments. Overall, I highly recommend this tour to thrill-seekers or anyone looking for an escape from the hustle and bustle of the city. It’s an adventure you won’t forget!
The team did not rush is at all at any if the locations and were happy to wait for us and let us take our time at each destination, reminding us not to rush at each one. They suggested other places to visit which is great. The tour itself was very reasonably priced and the number of miles we covered in the car. Lunch was also included in the price and again there was no rush.
Our wonderful guide Ibu Rina contacted us 1-day prior via WhatsApp to confirm the location/timing and itinerary. The overall experience was amazing, first we visited the Suspension Bridge, followed by Waterfall, Basket Transfer and Lake view. We started around 6am, arrived by 9am and had lunch about 1.30pm. the activity does require some energy walking up and down multiple stairs (total about 7000-8000 steps). But it was def a great day trip experience. The journey back can be a little challenging (about 4-6hrs) depending on the day. So make sure to plan accordingly. Totally recommend it for those looking for a 1-day adventure from Jakarta.
it was a great experience, truly not for the weak, a lot of steep stairs just need to make sure you walk safely. lunch was provided, guide Desi is such a sweetheart
Enjoying phytoncides in nature is a comfortable and relaxing journey, and there are not too many tourists. It is highly recommended! The tour guide Ida is very considerate and speaks excellent English, so there is no need to worry about communication difficulties. During the journey, we will constantly ask everyone if they need to rest or go to the toilet. In addition to the introductory tour about the itinerary, we are also happy to answer any other questions. He also took a lot of photos for us along the way, recommended the best photo spots, and introduced local food and culture. The driver drove very steadily and safely.
It was a very interesting experience and the tour guide and driver were very kind. The itinerary was as described. It was a mountain hike and we reached different scenic spots in the mountains, including suspension bridges, hanging baskets, etc... The lunch was delicious and authentic, and the overall feeling was good. The only drawback is... It takes 3 hours to drive from Jakarta. We encountered a traffic jam on the way back and it took more than 4 hours to get back to the city. As a result, we spent more than 7 hours in the car moving around in the day. We are afraid of taking a car and need to consider it.
Tourist guide is professional, good in English, passionate, and served us with patience. Driver is very polite.
