Taichung Private Car Charter: Customized Itinerary (Departing from Taichung)

Booked an 8hr ride going around Taichung. Wuqi Fisherman’s Wharf, Mitsui Outlet Park, Gaomei Wetland, Rainbow Village and finally ends at Tsutaya Bookstore. The driver was friendly and accommodating.

We got a driver named Ken. He was very helpful and chatty. Which made him not only our driver but also a mini tour guide. Grateful to have him as a guide and helping out with taking pictures for us. We planned our own trip so he just followed through our itinerary without questioning which is great.

Do not book this if you plan to go to Qingjing farm. We booked it thinking it will allow us to go there but we had to top up another NTD 1,500

I was worried since it was my first time in Taichung and I had my children with me, and I didn't know the area at all, but I was relieved to have such a kind driver. I really appreciated that they looked up the destinations in advance and were mindful of things like business hours. I was very impressed that they came with us to the places, translated for us, and took photos. They flexibly suggested recommended spots that my children would enjoy, and we had a fulfilling time. After the booking was confirmed, it was easy to contact and confirm the itinerary. The driver arrived 10-15 minutes early and we were on our way. Because of weather, we cut one of our stops short and added another location.

The driver, Mr Huang was very prompt and helpful throughout the trip. He shared interesting stories about the city and gave useful tips on the places to visit in Taichung, which makes our 4-hour trip really enjoyable!

We had a great time with our driver Mr Qiu as he was friendly and accommodating! Sent him my itinerary beforehand and he gave us some recommendations on where else to go that’s nearby. We were able to go to Zhongshe Flower Market, National Taichung Theater, and the outlet mall! He also helped book our lunch spot as the initial place we wanted to go was fully booked. Highly recommended to book a private chartered tour for Taichung!

It was hard communicating with the driver in English, but we can see he was trying his best. The places we wanted to go were not grouped in the same package, so we had to pay extra fees for these locations. These made the whole trip more expensive.
