Giethoorn Day Tour with Cruise and Cheese Platter from Amsterdam

Giethoorn is very beautiful. There was a bit of a snag at the start of the trip when we had to transfer bus. But overall a great experience. Enough time to take the boat cruise and explore the place.

Giethoorn is a lovely and beautiful town. We had a lovely boat tour in the canal with our cheese platter. I didn’t see any other tour that had the cheese platter. Time spent there was just nice.

The tour guide on the bus introduced the history of Giethoorn in Spanish and English. After arriving, he also kindly led us to board the cruise ship. After boarding the ship, several kinds of cheese were prepared on the table for us to enjoy. The time spent in Giethoorn was about 3 hours. The scenery was as beautiful as a painting.

It’s so beautiful here, and I have more time to myself on this trip. I eat cheese on the boat for the first hour, and then have free time! It was fun to sit by the river and watch the different countries row!

The trip time was just right, the cheese plate was rich and delicious. During the trip, the tour guide introduced a lot of Amsterdam's history and culture, which made it easy to learn about this history.

Lisa, the guide for the day, is also Taiwanese, very kind and shared a lot of knowledge. There were also Indians participating in the Chinese language group, and Lisa even created a Chinese-English dual track for them. We set off to Giethoorn at nine in the morning to taste it first. The original attached cheese plate was replaced with delicious apple pie and coffee. The cruise was very comfortable and we avoided traffic jams on the return trip at 2:30. It's a pity that I could have stayed longer, but I took a comfortable bus and didn't have to worry about traffic. Overall, I was very satisfied.
