Taipei Transport Fun Pass (TPE Airport Pick Up)

with this you wont be stressed with money because for its unlimited!! i explored the city with my mom today and we probably took the mrt like 10 times just going to all the iconic stops and finding hidden gems in between :)

This 2-day transport fun pass is the most cost-effective option. It's more economical. It's easy to claim because you'll immediately see the Klook area on your left after exiting immigration. We only used it for areas that didn't require entrance fees, such as Jiufen, Shifen, Tamsui, Ximending, Liberty Square, Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall, Daan Park, Shilin Market, Wufenpu, Raohe Market, Beitou Hot Spring, and many more. Just plan your itinerary to include places that don't require an entrance fee, and make sure the locations are close to each other so you can visit more spots. Start with the farthest destination and then work your way back to your area. Google Maps is a great help. Just avoid taking buses with 4-digit numbers. The MRT and about 6 tourist buses are allowed. This pass also includes one ride on the local train near Shifen... enjoy!

so worth it. just spent a day going back and forth the metro going to a highly reviewed restaurant, some iconic spots of taipei, and walking in alleys that really make you feel immersed in the daily life of taipei. and you dont have the mental stress of computing how much you have left on your easycard, or the stress of making sure you get off the right stop + that you optimize your route to save as much money as possible. and you get vouchers too like 10% off shopping somewhere so thats cool! i havent tried it yet though.

We were able to use the 1 day FunPass to get around Taipei City and ride the Maokong Gondola. It was very convenient to use on buses and trains. Just take note that there are bus lines that do not accept the pass (4-digit bus codes) so you still need to get an EasyCard just in case.

Great card. Can travel on all MRT trains in Taipei, Bus (except Express Bus,…). Convenient for traveling and going to tourist attractions. Worth the money. 👍👍👍

Exchanging your transportation pass at Taoyuan Airport is quite easy, but you'll be in the same line as those exchanging e-SIMs, so it can take longer than expected if there are many people. The 965 bus stop for Jiufen in Ximen is located straight ahead from Ximen Station Exit 2, after crossing one traffic light. I think it depends on the day, but the bus was almost full with passengers boarding from Ximen, so I recommend boarding between Fuzhong and Ximen. When returning to Taipei City from Jiufen, the Jiufen Old Street bus stop is located a short walk up the hill after crossing the crosswalk in front of 7-Eleven. Please be careful of cars and have a safe trip!

A must-have for convenient travel around Taiwan especially if you're itinerary have a lot of rides. You will save money using this card since a ride in a bus will cost 15-30 NTD while Metro Rails and Subways will cost no less than 20 NTD.

Very useful card to get around Taipei. We were unable to use it for the buses as we mostly relied on the Metro. Our daughter wanted to check out some places for Manga and Anime and my plans included Taipei 101 , Maokong Gondola and nightmarket visits. We ticked this off our bucket list using this card!

Very convenient to use! This is my second time availing this because I find it very economical to use especially when you intend to explore the city all day long, transferring from one station to station.
