Reviews
Reviews summaryThe Guishan Island dolphin watching trip was an unforgettable experience the crew was incredibly accommodating, making sure everyone felt comfortable and had a clear view throughout the ride. Their knowledge and friendly guidance added to the enjoyment, and we were lucky enough to see large groups of dolphins swimming and playing near the boat. Watching so many dolphins up close in their natural habitat made the tour both exciting and memorable.
Guishan Island is an absolute gem, and this tour made the experience unforgettable. From the moment we set off, the scenic views of the coastline were stunning. Once we arrived, the unique volcanic landscape of the island and its famous turtle-shaped silhouette were awe-inspiring. The knowledgeable guide shared fascinating stories about the island's history, ecology, and cultural significance, adding a special touch to the journey.
This is a beautiful experience that will last a lifetime! From the boat desk staff, the sailors on the boat, to the mountain guides, they were all very kind and kind! The equipment of the Blue Whale is new and the life jackets are also very clean. Before landing on the island, we will first go around the island to see the Milk Sea and the surrounding scenery of Guishan Island. The explanations on the boat are also very exciting and interesting! You don’t have to worry about rushing when you climb a mountain. There will be a leading guide and a supporting team. Each guide will pay attention to the physical and mental state of each climber at any time, and will not force the climb to the summit. They will also patiently wait for mountaineers who fall behind and provide encouragement. After going down the mountain, there is a hiking tour of at least 1-1.5 hours around the island, which will lead us to understand the development history, military history and myths and legends of Guishan Island. The guide was very lively and spoke positively, leaving a great impression on people. The whole family was very satisfied with this trip. It was so worthwhile and happy to be able to climb the 401 Heights!
This was my first time booking a Klook tour. The day before, they thoughtfully sent a text message with the meeting time and location (including a photo), which was a huge plus! I hadn't been to Guishan Island before and was curious about the itinerary. To my surprise, many people participated in the 401 Highland climb that day. Our guide, Mr. Dong, also climbed the entire 401 Highland with us; he must be the hardest-working guide in all of Taiwan. We arrived on the island in the morning, received a brief introduction, and then immediately started climbing the 401 Highland. The weather that day was hot and humid, and I was completely exhausted by the time we descended. In the afternoon, we took a boat tour around Guishan Island, and the onboard guide provided a very detailed explanation. We returned to port around 3 PM.
Luckily, I saw two different species of dolphins! The front of the boat is a great spot, but remember to bring a change of clothes because the northeast monsoon makes the seawater splash your face like you're at an amusement park. Don't forget to bring sunglasses, a hat, and apply sunscreen! Guishan Island offers a chance to learn about history in an entertaining way, and the scenery is beautiful, but it can be hot. If you're sensitive to heat, remember to bring a small fan.
On September 13, 2025, I took the "North Star No. 1" of Wushi Legend to go out to sea to see Guishan Island and dolphins. The captain's explanation was detailed. It was a sunny and breezy day. In addition to seeing the entire Guishan Island, I also smelled the island's unique sulfur scent. Plus, we were incredibly lucky to see an entire pod of dolphins. It was a very complete experience and definitely worth the trip. I would definitely participate again if I have the chance. Awesome!
It is a rare experience. The young tour guide's explanation is interesting and brilliant. You can go to the island to see its former glory. However, the wind and waves were strong that day, and we went to look for whales and dolphins, but it was difficult to reach the shore due to the big waves. We had to wait for a while before we could get ashore. We stayed on the boat for more than two hours, and our heads and stomachs could not bear it. Many people felt dizzy and vomited. It is recommended to get enough sleep the day before, get up early and eat a light meal, or take anti-sickness medicine first. The journey will not be affected by physical discomfort.
Everything from exchanging tickets to getting on the island, touring the island, and whale and dolphin watching was incredibly smooth and seamless. Our guide, RAY, was very dedicated and humorous, explaining the history, culture, and interesting facts about Guishan Island. He was also very kind and attentive to everyone, especially those with elderly family members or children. During the whale and dolphin watching tour 🐬, he was enthusiastic and lively, creating a great atmosphere. We saw so many adorable dolphins, and they swam so close to our boat 🥰! It was an excellent experience, highly recommended! If you're visiting Guishan Island, be sure to choose Wushi Legend ☺️🤙🏻
Totally worth it! The boat we took that day was very new, and the guides were friendly and engaging. They shared many fascinating geographical features and cultural stories about Turtle Island and Toucheng. The weather was clear that day, and we were lucky enough to see a large pod of spinner dolphins, including some very cute baby dolphins! I highly recommend this trip and will definitely return if I have the chance. 🐬
A fantastic experience! None of the three of us got seasick! It's a shame we didn't see any whales, but hopefully we'll have better luck next time! Experience: Great Safety: Yes Location: Sea Equipment: OK
