NIKKO PASS Digital Ticket

Highly recommended! Convenient, comfortable, and clean. The seats are spacious and can be adjusted to face each other. You can bring your own drinks and snacks onboard. There's a cafe in the first carriage where you can buy drinks, but you can't sit and eat there; you have to return to your seat. The restrooms are very clean, and the vehicle is on time.

So glad I bought the NIKKO Pass All Area. It was really convenient and saved me a lot of money. One roundtrip from Yumoto Onsen is 3800¥, almost half the price of the All Area Nikko Pass. A few things to note: 1) Busses will not accept screenshots of your NIKKO Pass so make sure you have Wi-Fi, good LTE and if not, leave the pass open on your phone so it still works even with no connection 2) Take a look at the additional benefits of the All Area pass. You can go on the Lake Chuzenji cruise multiple times as long as you have the paper cruise ticket they give you. Also looks like you get a free day use of hot spring at Nikko Astoria hotel (I haven’t done it but looks like a new nice perk). Don’t forget discounts at stores with NIKKO Pass signage though I didn’t spot any. 3) Don’t forget to buy the Tobu Express tickets linked in the Highlights section of this page. Spacia X rides was very nice if you want to be fancy. Enjoy your time in Nikko!

The pass is worth the money. Just a call out there are two passes 2 day and four day. If you just plan to visit the temples and shrines you can go for the two day pass but if you plan on visiting the Kegon falls and other areas then consider the 4 day pass in particular if you will stay in Nikko for more than a day.

nikko is such a magical place. if you’re into nature tripping, then Nikko is the place for you. travel time will take 2hrs if you use express limited train for additional charge and 3hrs for regular train. love the heritage sites.

Received instant confirmation email upon booking at Klook app which comes with clear instruction guide on installation on iPhone and activation. All the bus rides within Nikko and train to/fro Kita-senju to Nikko are covered within the 4 day Nikko pass. So convenient and easy to use. Highly recommended to anyone who is visiting Nikko.

It is very worth it and easy to use, just need to activate and can use straight away, the only thing you need to make sure you have the connection. Not only cover bus in Nikko but also train from Tokyo to Nikko. Since we took limited express, its already cover the basic fare of the limited express.

It saved a lot of money for us to travel a return trip for Nikko, around 3 and half hours of train ride but we are able to enjoy world heritage sites, it’s beautiful and we also get to view the amazing waterfall as well.

I stayed in Nikko for 2 days and bought the Nikko 4 day pass for the boat trip at the lake, but it appears to not always sail. Now this wasn't the biggest of deal breakers, but everything in Nikko closes around 16:00 and the last busses and trains drive around 17:00. So we couldn't get our moneys worth out of the pass. Still a great convenience to show the QR code and be able to hop on to every bus and train in Nikko. Definitely will book again next trip.

E-tickets are convenient and cost-effective. When using them, just click on the order and show the QR code to board. However, I encountered some problems: since it needs to be viewed in "My Orders" after purchase, it will not be displayed in "My Trips", and I bought this ticket four months ago, and in the meantime, I ordered more than 20 other orders from klook, which resulted in me having to browse down for a long time every time I wanted to open the tour pass to show it to the driver, and I might even slide over it and not find it 🥲. On the way to Lake Chuzenji and in the lake area, the network reception was not very good (I used klook's esim), so I often encountered the situation where I could not find this ticket on the "My Orders" page. Later I asked customer service and was told that I could solve this problem by opening the ticket from the email order proof I received when I purchased the ticket. Thanks to customer service for their assistance.

Efficient way to explore Nikko even for one day. Combine it with the reserved ticket also with Klook to make your trip to Nikko hassle free. No need to exchange your physical ticket. Just show the voucher to the train staff and you are good to go.
