NIKKO PASS Digital Ticket

This is very convenient, easy to use, and cost-effective. It includes the basic fare for Spacia X, as well as all trains and buses within the Nikko area, making it very convenient for visiting Kinugawa and Toshogu. Additionally, it includes the boat cruise on Lake Chuzenji, covering all transportation needs.

Highly recommended! Convenient, comfortable, and clean. The seats are spacious and can be adjusted to face each other. You can bring your own drinks and snacks onboard. There's a cafe in the first carriage where you can buy drinks, but you can't sit and eat there; you have to return to your seat. The restrooms are very clean, and the vehicle is on time.

the 2 days pass is worth taking. we took the local train which is only one hour more than limited express. and the frequency of the train is very fast. unlike limited express, although is more comfortable, the ticket has to purchase in advance. the free bus ride allow us to take from station to the shinkyo bridge, then to the temple and back to hotel for 2 days. however, the bus is crowded. sometimes, we walk for short distance instead.

The travel pass is very convenient and easy to use. Just show the QR code to enter the gates and board/alight from vehicles. It allows access to many attractions, and the Lake Chuzenji cruise is even free. Unfortunately, the cable car is undergoing maintenance until mid-next year! The only downside was the bad weather and heavy rain!

We booked a 2-night stay at Yumoto Onsen, and thankfully we bought the 4-day pass – it was such a great value! We even took the bus down the mountain to a supermarket in front of the station to stock up on some food. The scenery along the bus route was beautiful. We also visited Lake Chuzenji. It was windy and very cold in January, but the buses were frequent, and we could catch the next bus in about 20 minutes, which was very convenient. I highly recommend that travelers staying for one night or more definitely buy the 4-day pass to easily travel long distances by bus. However, if you are only planning to visit attractions near the Toshogu Shrine World Heritage Site, then buying the 2-day pass is sufficient.

Bought the Nikko Pass 4-day pass, taking the railway bus, just show the code in the app to get on the bus, very convenient! You can also ride the sightseeing boat for free!

The Nikko 4-Day Digital Pass was incredibly helpful during our trip to Nikko. It covered the base fare from Tokyo to Nikko and the return trip, making travel super convenient. Within Nikko, all internal bus rides were included, which saved both time and money when visiting various attractions. The pass also offered great perks such as a free Lake Kawaguchi boat ride, discounts at several sightseeing spots, and even deals at local onsens. Having everything managed digitally made it easy to use without worrying about paper tickets. Overall, it’s excellent value and a must have for anyone exploring the Nikko region.

nikko is such a magical place. if you’re into nature tripping, then Nikko is the place for you. travel time will take 2hrs if you use express limited train for additional charge and 3hrs for regular train. love the heritage sites.

Buying tickets on Klook is so convenient! I just used the e-ticket (since it's collected in the end anyway), and when boarding, I simply showed it to the staff for manual verification and went straight to the train. For most attractions in Nikko, you can use the Nikko Pass to get there directly by bus.

The train from Asakusa to Tobu Nikko Station is free, but only for regular trains. If you want the limited express train, you need to book it online separately. Arrived in Tokyo on Saturday morning, and there were no limited express seats available in the morning. It took an extra hour and a half with four train changes to reach Nikko. The two-day pass requires an additional fee of over 1,000 yen to visit Kegon Falls and Lake Chuzenji. Overall, the two-day Nikko pass is still worthwhile.
