I think Central Park Zoo is quite underrated: it's small but extremely clean and cute. You can explore around at your own pace and enjoy the view with skyscrapers in the background.

It was very cool seeing puffins, snow leopard and also the grizzly bear. Make sure to go to the childrens zoo it is included in the ticket!

Walking in the zoo is very much like being in a movie scene. The performance of the sea lions is very cute and the environment inside is very comfortable🤩🤩🤩

The Central Park Zoo is a hidden gem in the middle of Manhattan. It’s not the biggest zoo out there, but that’s part of its charm. Located right inside Central Park, it’s a perfect quick escape from the city hustle, especially if you’re already walking around the park or nearby. The animal exhibits are well-maintained, and the enclosures look thoughtfully designed. Highlights include the snow leopards, sea lions (their feeding shows are fun and educational), and the adorable red pandas. The tropical rainforest exhibit is surprisingly immersive — you really feel like you’re walking through a jungle. The Tisch Children’s Zoo nearby is a great spot for younger kids — lots of space to explore, touch-and-feed areas with goats and sheep, and a playful atmosphere. Families will definitely enjoy this area.

i would go again just to see the cute sea lions!!!!! highly recommend checking it out. was very easy to navigate and not very busy.
