eSIM Information
- This is a Data-only eSIM. Calls and texts are not available. Top-up is available via Klook (Indicate top-up and contact merchant)
- eSIM Validity period (Days) starts upon successful installation. Please install on the day of travel or when you need it. You will need an internet connection to install
- The eSIM is valid upon Installation for your selected duration. If you Install your eSIM at 2200, it will end at 2200, based on your selected validity
Usage reminder
- Please refrain from extensive video streaming and/or processing a huge amount of data in a short time
- The operator is not responsible or liable for any changes made to data speed or usage. You will still be charged the agreed upon fee during your rental period
- Under the Fair Usage Policy, data speed and usage may be limited for users who process large amounts of data in a short period. This is at the discretion of the subscribed telecommunications company and may occur without prior notice
- Data limit as per Data Plan in Gigabyte (GB); therefore, it is under Fair Usage Policy (FUP) - unlimited data speed will go up to 128 kbps. Excessive usage may cause the data plan to be suspended without notice to prevent data usage abuse based on the local network policies
Important Notes
- Please ensure that you have an eSIM compatible and network-unlocked device, and the travel itinerary is confirmed
- Data plan validity starts immediately when eSIM is installed (Expiry date - 45 days from the purchase date)
- You may install eSIM before traveling(before your flight) or, at your destination when you need it
- To successfully install eSIM, a stable Internet connection is required
- All Data plans (4G/3G Speed) will thereafter follow unlimited data under *FUP for the duration of the validity plan
- eSIM can only be installed once. Do NOT DELETE/REMOVE your eSIM from your device after successful installation
- You can have different eSIM plans installed on your device
- Data speed varies depending on the country and location

Confirmation happens fairly instantaneously. Step by step guide on how to use was very handy. For a person who is relatively internet dependent(Instagram and Facebook 😬), I would say that the internet speed was reasonably good (…but don’t expect any coverage in mountainy areas/certain freeway/Milford Sound…though I have a good reception halfway through my Isthmus Peak hike!). Would use it again if I’m back to NZ!
Although it is 5G in New Zealand, we have to prepare to return to the network speed of the previous 3G era and receive messages in the wilderness. Don’t have high expectations for sending and receiving messages normally. You will laugh.
works well in sydney. i had good connection but runs out easily if you use apps like tiktok frequently. use as necessary to ensure it lasts throughout your trip

The data was generally strong in most area except areas that are nearer to the ocean and further from the cities.
