Afei Surf - Kenting One-on-One Surfing/Parent-Child Surfing Lessons

We book the night before. Upon arrival, was told all coach are out, luckily the boss managed to find me another coach. the coach is nice and encouraging. but becoause of the sudden change, there is no one to take photo and we have to take pic ourselves. the waves was pretty big so its a bit difficult. i would do it again if the weather is better.

Safety: The surfing spot is a shallow area, with water reaching about waist-level, but there are still waves. This makes it not too dangerous while still allowing you to experience surfing. Experience: After practicing your stance for half an hour, you can head into the water to prepare for surfing. With the coach's help, you can usually stand up after two or three attempts. Plus, there's a photographer on the beach to help take pictures, producing hundreds of shots per person in an hour, so you're sure to find some great ones. Coach: The coach is very kind, constantly encouraging and praising you. They have extensive teaching experience and are very enthusiastic. Location: Staying in Nanwan (South Bay) is more convenient. You can generally walk to the shop in about five minutes, and then walk another five minutes to the beach. Equipment: It's more convenient to bring your own long-sleeved rash guard or close-fitting swimsuit. You don't really need to bring much else, as there's nowhere to put your belongings on the beach. When you go surfing, all your items, including your phone, can be stored in the lockers at the shop.

Ah Fei was very professional. I had tried surfing before but couldn't stand up, but this time with Ah Fei, I managed to stand up and even surfed all the way to the shore. It was such a great sense of accomplishment! Their team also took many beautiful photos for us, creating wonderful memories. Nanwan is absolutely beautiful and definitely a great place for surfing. I highly recommend it!

The instructor's teaching was clear and easy to understand, very thoughtful and dedicated. The whole course was quite interesting, suitable for beginners, exciting and fun. Although my balance isn't great, my first surfing experience was pretty good, and I still managed to catch some waves. I want to go again 100 more times!!! It was a very satisfying trip, and I'd love to come back again if I get the chance!

The coach was very dedicated in teaching, and my daughter learned to surf on her first try. She had a wonderful time.

Ah Fei and the coaches were all incredibly patient and taught very well. All four of us successfully stood up on our first try surfing! 🏄‍♂️ It was so much fun, and the experience was fantastic! 💪💪💪 I definitely want to do it again next time I visit.

At the designated time, we put on our wetsuits and rubber shoes. The instructor, with surfboards in tow, took our family, who had never been on a surfboard before, to Haikou Park. The water depth and waves were perfect for us, and the kids picked it up easily. Eventually, the instructor spotted the right wave, pushed us out, and we were able to lie down, crouch, and stand up in one smooth motion according to their instructions. We even made it to the shore a few times successfully. The kids were thrilled and kept saying they wanted to go again next time.

Had the best time with Afei! It was my husband’s first time ever surfing and he absolutely loved it. Afei was super chill, patient and really supportive the whole time, which made such a difference. He also took heaps of photos for us which was so nice to have afterwards. Such a fun experience — highly recommend!

The coach was very dedicated in their teaching, progressing step-by-step from getting familiar with the waves, to warming up, and then to the paddleboarding movements. The child also really enjoyed it and was able to successfully stand up.

Overall, it was an amazing experience! The instructor's guidance was excellent. They carefully explained everything, from stance to balance techniques, making it easy to grasp the essentials quickly. They were also quick to point out and demonstrate solutions to any problems encountered, making the learning process very efficient. The atmosphere was relaxed and fun, making it perfect for beginners or those who aren't yet comfortable with surfing!
