Tonight, I celebrated my birthday with friends over Chinese food. We ordered a set menu, and several dishes were truly surprising. The MVP (Most Valuable Player) award definitely goes to the smoked pigeon! Coconut Soup: As soon as it arrived, I could smell the incredibly fragrant coconut. It was sweet and smooth, very warming, and left my stomach feeling comfortable, perfectly preparing us for the main courses. Smoked Pigeon (No. 1 Must-Order): This was truly the MVP of the entire evening! The smoky aroma hit us as soon as it was served. The pigeon skin had a beautiful color, and each bite was incredibly tender and juicy. Even the bones had a subtle smoky flavor – absolutely amazing! Typhoon Shelter Crab Legs: The wok hei (breath of the wok) was fantastic! The crispy garlic was fried to a golden, crunchy perfection, and the spice level and garlic aroma were just right. The crab legs were super thick and meaty; every bite was incredibly satisfying. Sichuan Peppercorn Beef Cubes: The beef cubes were very tender and juicy. The subtle numbing and fragrant spice of the Sichuan peppercorns was invigorating, providing a pleasant tingle without being overly spicy. It was very flavorful and went perfectly with rice. Sakura Shrimp with Stir-fried Yam: After several rich dishes, this one was perfect for cleansing the palate. The sakura shrimp were savory, and the yam was crisp and subtly sweet, without feeling greasy at all. Scallop and Egg White Fried Rice: The rice was perfectly stir-fried, with each grain separate and dry, not oily at all. They were very generous with the egg white and shredded scallops. The flavor was light and refreshing, leaving a very pleasant feeling after eating. Actually, when I made the reservation, I forgot to mention it was for a birthday dinner. Towards the end of the meal, I casually asked the staff if any special arrangements could be made. Manager Levis was incredibly nice after hearing my request and immediately went to the kitchen to ask if it was possible. The result was not only a surprise cake brought out, but also several staff members joining in to sing "Happy Birthday," which instantly created a wonderful atmosphere! This birthday dinner was incredibly enjoyable. A special thank you to Levis and Bryan for being so professional and attentive. I will definitely come back again!
We visit Garden Lounge every year for their afternoon tea, and this time we took advantage of Klook’s B1G1 promotion to try their Peking duck set dinner. Overall, it was really enjoyable. The duck was well-prepared, and the entire set offered good taste. What truly stood out, however, was the dessert. The Black Sesame & Peanut Tart was exceptional — beautifully presented and absolutely delicious. We were very impressed with the quality of the sweets.
The first time I ate at this hotel restaurant that I had bookmarked before. This time we enjoyed the buy one get half free buffet dinner. The buffet bar has three kinds of sashimi, including long-legged crab mussels. The amazing thing is the oysters! For hot food, there are Peking duck pork amine lamb chops. The main food menu content is much richer. It tastes good! Unfortunately, without adding money to join the drinks menu, there is only one grapefruit juice and water available. There was a wide variety of desserts, and the ice cream seemed homemade. The only thing is that the hotel staff quickly took away an unfinished plate, so fast that he could not cut it off, so he took it away😓
Buy-one-get-one for $1000 for two people, a great deal. You can enjoy snow crab and oysters to your heart's content, and they are very fresh. The oysters are very plump, and you don't have to wait in line, they are already prepared and ready to grab. The abalone is fresh, sweet, flavorful, and tender, and the Peking duck is fresh, crispy, and a must-try. The semi-buffet includes a dinner set per person, with appetizers and a main course, all of high quality and not carelessly made. If the promotion is available again, I will definitely patronize again.
Comfortable environment, polite staff, full on weekdays, resupply of food very quickly, every time I go out, it's full of praise! The main course steak and fish are tasty and smooth, the oysters are fresh and refreshing early in the morning, go to 9 o'clock no one takes it do not take it, put too long the oysters appearance has not been beautiful shrunk dare not eat, always opened out for a while, and each table comes with the second dish garlic butter grilled prawns The sake-cooked mussels are a little sandy. No macarons that day went unfortunately! Dessert is average, tried a few only chocolate cake more to my taste! There are 4 kinds of ice cream, if you can have more choices better, buy one get one free is quite cheap, will come again if there is a discount!
The semi-buffet dinner has a rich variety of food, especially the Australian coffin bay oysters, which are fresh and sweet, and the desserts are also excellent.
The hotel environment is quiet, very comfortable and elegant, the restaurant waiters are friendly and attentive, the salty desserts are of moderate size, cute and delicious.
There is plenty of time for dining, from 6 to 10pm. The sashimi includes scallops, cooked shrimps, and octopus. Orange juice and warm water are provided. The main course of sea bass was cooked to perfection and the rack of lamb was delicious. The environment is comfortable, with a wide selection of desserts and fruits, a good choice for parties!
Oysters are very fresh, unlimited supply, long-legged crabs are very fresh, a variety of cold plates to choose from, unfortunately to leave the stomach to eat the main course, can not try every dish🤭 The waiter service is attentive and polite, the family eats Mother's Day meal to the fullest ~ The only thing not to blow no main course is slower, but not urging me to return the table is no big problem🤭
Amazing dining experience in Garden Lounge, the food are good, the environment is good. only one thing can be improved is that the waitress and waiter can be more well trained. Overall speaking, I and my friends had a great night at there.
