What to expect
Embrace the adventure of an instructed outdoor rock climbing session at the Kangaroo Point Cliffs! The site, located just across the river from Brisbane’s central business district, is a popular destination not only for casual picnics and BBQs, but also an array of exciting activities for families and friends alike. To prepare yourself for a two hour climb, you’ll be briefed by the experienced staff and given a helmet, harness, rope and chalk for your journey. First timers and seasoned climbers can choose from varying levels of difficulty depending on their skill level. Once you grab hold of the rocks and start your ascent, you’ll feel the rush of adrenaline coursing through your veins as you scale the weathered walls of the iconic landmark. The journey may be a bit tough, but whether you’re taking a climb in the day or night time, the breathtaking view of the city skyline you’ll get when you reach the top is guaranteed to be worth it.

Super fun for adventure lovers! Some safty tips and equipment like helmet and harness (no rock climbing shoes) were given but only a few abstract techniques were given by the instructor. Routes of different difficulties were provided to choose from. The instructor was not really paying attention on the climber but chatting with another instructor all the time without looking up so there were some safty concerns.
This summer activity was divided into six groups, each with six ropes. Four people climbed each rope, and there were two instructors guiding us. The instructors were very patient, and if we encountered bottlenecks while climbing, they would provide guidance. If we really couldn't do it, they would encourage us, and even pull us up. We played for nearly three hours, and both adults and children were happy!
It was a very satisfying rock climbing experience. The difficulty level was not easy, but I think it is possible if you have a certain level of physical strength, and I think it is meaningful to try it. It was a safe and wonderful experience.
It was a great experience. The instructor was very attentive and both adults and children stretched their muscles. It was a little more difficult than expected, but it was safe and a perfect journey.
Rock climbing is very interesting, but there are several routes that are a bit difficult for beginners. Climbing 5 to 6 meters can no longer go up. If there are more people on the day, about one or two rounds of climbing will be over. It's a pity that the shoulders will be sore after climbing the next day.

The climb was quite challenging, but everyone encouraged each other, and in the end, we all successfully reached the summit, which was great.
The voucher was confirmed the next day after ordering, and the on-site registration experience process was very convenient. The coach was very professional and explained clearly. Outdoor climbing is very different from indoor climbing, it is a very fun and challenging experience.
