Story Bridge Adventure Climb

I went to Story Bridge at night with my friends. We learned about how the Story Bridge was built and the history of the land planning, which deepened my understanding of Australia. Although there are many tall buildings nearby, the Story Bridge standing under the blue and yellow lights was just as impressive. Standing on the bridge, feeling the night breeze, made me really happy. Even though I have a bit of a fear of heights, I’m glad I came here, stood on the bridge, and enjoyed the beautiful Brisbane night view.

This was one of the highlights of our trip to Brisbane. We joined the twilight climb, and my daughter and I were the only Asians in our group, which made the experience even more unique. Our climb leader, JASPER, was outstanding—professional, humorous, and incredibly attentive. His clear safety briefing made everyone feel confident, and throughout the climb he shared fascinating stories about the Story Bridge while ensuring everyone felt safe and comfortable. JASPER also took wonderful photos for us at every scenic stop, giving us memories we will treasure forever. Reaching the summit and overlooking the Brisbane River and the stunning city skyline was breathtaking. Watching the golden sunset as the moon slowly rose was a magical moment that words can hardly describe. It is a memory my daughter and I will cherish forever. I highly recommend the Story Bridge Adventure Climb, especially the twilight session. Thank you, JASPER, for making this adventure so special and unforgettable!

Before climbing, I was worried that I would be scared, but I had such a fun time that I would have regretted not signing up. I went up at sunset, and unlike the night views I’ve seen from other places, it had a wild(?) feel to it, and it was thrilling and lively, so I enjoyed the wonderful scenery. Our guide’s name was “Kupa,” and he explained the history of the bridge in detail, and he took great pictures for me, so I was very satisfied. It was an adventure that was even more memorable because I got to climb one of the three bridges in the world where you can climb on top of it!

Before going on the bridge, the tour leader will explain the history and precautions of the bridge. You can feel the scenery change from day to twilight to night, with the harbor and buildings showing different styles. For 30 Australian dollars, you can purchase the electronic files of all your photos.

this was exciting! climbing up the story bridge and the cars were passing by under us! the view is nice and the guide shared a lot of the history. it took a longer time to get there, schedule of ferry wasn’t that frequent.

Hats and sunscreen are provided on site, so you don’t have to worry about the sun (during noon time). The whole experience is quite worthwhile, and you can also take photos that are worth taking as a souvenir. You will also be asked to fill in some basic information online before traveling. It is recommended to fill it in in advance to avoid arriving. The scene was too rushed. (It was originally scheduled to rain heavily that day, but you can change it to the next day when you arrive at the site👍)

We participated in the twilight climb and experienced Brisbane differently during the day and night. The children preferred the night because they thought it was beautiful once the lights were on. After the climb, we also received digital group photos and a hat. The staff also shared some history and knowledge about the bridge. If you haven't tried it, it's definitely worth experiencing.

It's a very good scenic spot. The attendant carefully introduced how to wear the equipment, as well as the history, culture and scenic spots along the way. They also took photos for everyone during the process, but the photos have to be purchased afterwards.

The tour leader Jas was so informative and did a good job taking care of the group! I really enjoyed the panoramic view of Brisbane❣️ It might feel wee bit expensive but totally recommended.
