It was good experience visiting and understanding the lives of the locals in a floating village. Our guide, Chenda spoke very good English and was able to clearly explain to us a lot of interesting information about the village. The sunset from the floating restaurant was awesome. I would recommend visiting this place.

There are safety issues involve with this itinerary, one member of our group who was trying to get off the boat twisted her kneecap and had to stay on board nearly the whole boat tour. To disembark, people either had to jump across from the boat to the pier where the gaps could be rather wide or jump off the boat and supposedly land on side of a slope where it could be uneven landing. This is where the member of our group tour fell and hurt her kneecap. My husband and I did not find our tour guide particularly professional, he miscounted and left a couple on a floating restaurant we visited. The couple had to yell to get our tour guide's attention and our boat had to return in order to pick them up. During the tour he did not explain what we were suppose to do and frequent people had to ask for clarifications. All in all this activity has the potential to be a good one just not with our guide.

They should inform users about dry and wet season beforehand to avoid any shock because there won't be any floating village in dry season and you will just be walking around in the village.

Limping Phluk floating village is the best place to visit if we have a good opportunity to go to Siem Reap that is near Tonle Sab lake. it has two season which called dry season and wet season. Most of tourists would like to go at wet season (during August to January) because they could see floating village which surrounding by water and high level of water is increased during these months. Moreover, you will be have a professional tour guide following with, he can speak English very fluently and you will enjoy with your beautiful view around that lake. Highly recommended guys!!

We visited Kompong Phluk during the dry season, so the water level was low. The boat ride through the village was interesting, seeing the boats squeezing along each other and villagers fishing alongside. The houses of the village were painted bright blue, making the whole place look exceptionally vibrant. Walking along the street and seeing students running back school make this trip felt more local than other temple trips and happy to hear that their lives are improving with amenities being built. The tour guide was experienced and able to explain well throughout the trip.

The activity itself is interesting and worth to join. You can see the living of the people there and I recommend to prepare some sweets for the children there. Nice family activity if you have a child. The sunset is great too. The tour guide was average “.

The tour was really good. we were picked up on time which was good, the minivan could be improved as it was very hot inside the van as some of the ac wasn't working apart from that the tour was good, the tour guide was very informative, we joined up with another tour. The water was muddy and they explained that its better during monsoon and that when the water level is higher and clearer. would definitely go again probably during mosoon

It's worth to visit this place, we learn more about the actual lives here. I like the boat tour around Tonle Sap 15 - 20 minutes, but you need you pay 5 usd/person. The food into the float house is not delicious, not recommend.

It was a great decision. At first, we were thinking to go there with tuk tuk. But we decided to join a tour group. The roads from Siem Reap to there were dusty and hot, but we were okay because we took the mini bus. The guide was good, he explained Cambodia history and general information. I recommend sunset tour. You can see an amazing view!
