Reviews summaryThe tour was such an amazing experience. Our guide Mr. Chut was very insightful and made the tour even more enjoyable. It was great to be able to visit the floating village and take a peak into the local life. Truly a once in a lifetime experience. We especially loved the mangrove canoe as it was unlike anything we’ve ever done before. One thing to be aware of is that the mangrove tour is not included in the fee.
our tour Guide Tom is very PASSIONATE and informative and helpful. The whole trip was very interesting, eye opening and Iearned a lot about the way of living in their village. it was fun with Tom our tour guide.
This is tour is an amazing experience to us.. The service is nice, the GUIDE and Driver are friendly and accommodating..They provide water everytime we go from one place to another place.. Our Guide gave us so many interesting facts about culture of those people living in the village.. Eventhough there is no water when we went there, our guide able to give us some ideas how it looks like everytime there is water. The kids there are very friendly, always smiling and love to talk to us.. After the floating village, we went to the lake using a boat.. It is very relaxing to see the lake, but unfortunately, we were not able to see the sunset bec of the rain..Nevertheless, it is a very good experience to us..For us, this activity is a must try❤️❤️
We had a wonderful tour of the floating village with our guide Tom! He was incredibly friendly and enthusiastic, taking us through narrow alleys and showing us many local houses. We had the chance to experience the real Cambodian village life and even went inside a traditional stilt house — that was super cool! The local villagers were also very kind and welcoming. I highly recommend this tour. If you're visiting Siem Reap, don't miss it — it will be one of the best experiences of your trip!
Our tour guide was Tom. Despite the tour being in English, he occasionally explained things in Japanese and was a very easy-to-understand guide. We were also allowed to enter the home of a village acquaintance, and were able to get a real look at the lives of the villagers of Kompong Luk. We were also able to hear Tom's passionate thoughts about the villagers, which touched everyone's hearts. This time we came at the end of March during the dry season, so we weren't able to explore the mangroves, but it was a tour that allowed us to get closer to the villagers, so we recommend going during the dry season as well!
the tour is amazing and we have a wonderful experience to see the culture of cambodian i kampong phluk village. the tour guide Mr. Pon is very kind and share us some informative history and other info. he also help us to take some good photo for remembrance. Absolutely highly recommended this tour to everyone. thank you Mr. Pon! 😊
I had the pleasure of joining a tour guided by Mr. Tong to the beautiful Tonle Sap Lake in December. The experience was amazing. From exploring the charming floating villages surrounding the lake to gliding through the serene mangroves in a small boat, every moment was captivating. The highlight of the trip was undoubtedly watching the breathtaking sunset from a large boat, a scene that will remain etched in my memory. Mr. Tong truly stood out as an exceptional guide. His friendly and outgoing personality helped him connect with everyone in the group effortlessly, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere throughout the tour. His knowledge and passion for the local culture and environment enriched the experience, making the journey not only visually stunning but also deeply meaningful. However, I must note one thing: had Mr. Tong refrained from referring to Taiwanese people as Chinese, this trip would have been absolutely perfect. Nevertheless, it was an unforgettable adventure, and I am grateful for the opportunity to have explored such a stunning part of Cambodia with his guidance. Thank you, Mr. Tong, for the memorable experience!
One of the best tours in siem reap where you see beautiful sceneries, learn about the life and story of the village and get to experience a sweet peaceful canoe boat ride, plus a good sunset view if the weather permits. Our guide was David and he’s done excellent job in sharing about the village. He’s very kind, very accommodating and making sure everyone is enjoying the tour.
We really enjoyed this experience thanks to our guide Bong Sim, comfortable transfers to and from hotel and lots of interesting information along the way provided by our guide. I would highly recommend adding to your Siem Reap itinerary, and I couldn't recommend our guide Bong Sim any more, he looked after us from the very start, gave us a look into his culture living by Ton le Sap, meeting locals and organising boats and cars. Seamless transition from Van to boat to another boat, Bong Sim had everyone ready when we arrived. Took us to the restaurant at the end with delicious Khmer and western cuisine. I'm going to miss the fried fish and kampot pepper sauce.
