This is a great place to learn about the history of Indians in Singapore and how people migrated there a few centuries ago. They also offer educational and interactive experiences for kids and students.
The museum is not big and can be visited in about an hour. It introduces a lot of the history of India in Singapore. The permanent exhibitions are on the third and fourth floors, and the special exhibitions are on the second floor. You can take pictures.
Excellent value for money. Focusing on introducing the origins of Indians in Singapore to the changes of the times to the present, the museum carefully interviewed the elderly and you can see the videos on many topics. The special exhibition is also well planned. It talks about the branches of Indians and adds to the issue of self-identity in multiculturalism. I hope the audio guide equipment will be repaired in the future
Very clean and sophisticated place in the middle of little India. Great to see the details of India and culture brought about in Singapore and how different the culture and history is of Singaporean Indians.
It is convenient to buy and exchange tickets anytime. The two floors of the exhibition venue are near the India MRT station.
I was able to understand a lot about the history and culture of Indian Indians in Singapore. There were also various experiential activities. It is recommended.
The Little India area allows you to experience Indian style without having to go to India. When we went there, we also met a local Chinese teacher who made an appointment for commentary and learned a lot.
An amazing newly inaugurated heritage museum with state of the art technology. Must visit for every Indian.
