Hop aboard a high-speed catamaran that will dock at a pontoon stationed at the heart of the barrier reef. The cruise comes with delicious onboard buffet lunch, morning and afternoon tea, a complete snorkeling set for you to explore the oceans without a guide, access to a semi-submersible, and underwater viewing chamberIt's a fantastic way to get up close and personal with the wildlife in the Great Barrier Reef!

Reviews
There are so many recommendations for live events that it’s a mess to listen to. In summary, after arriving at the location, the package allows you to go in the water and play on your own, which is similar to a free activity. There are also basic equipment on site for you to use. Hardy Reef is so beautiful, and it's great to be able to arrange your own time! We spent a long time admiring the coral reefs in the water! ! ! Awesome!
Recommended for a day trip out to the Great Barrier Reef: a must for a visit to the Queensland coast. For me a day trip is just perfect so that there’s enough time to spend relaxing on the cruise but also with some fun time at the pontoon on the reef. A one-way cruise trip is about 3 hours from Airlie Beach (with a stop over Hamilton Island) and the view along the way is amazing. Reef activities were great to begin with (the free ones) including a ride on the semi-submersible for reef viewing (with a guide) and snorkelling. There were also other added activities at cost including snorkelling, diving, helicopter flights over reefs, available for purchase on the cruise. NB that around 2 hours out to sea cellular reception is generally lost for the rest of the day until the cruise comes back close to shore. Lunch is included and was sufficient.
We had a great trip, the food was fresh and delicious, the staff were very friendly and attentive.
The big cruise ship is very comfortable, the meals are diverse and rich, and the service staff are very friendly and humorous. We have a scheduled deep dive trip (accompanied by a coach), and there will be 10 minutes of practice before the trip. If you don’t adapt, you can cancel and refund. We are all diving for the first time, but we really like it and enjoy it. There will be photographers taking pictures for both snorkeling and deep diving, and we also purchase our favorite photos. However, when we checked in, the staff at the counter stated that only one of us had a scheduled deep dive trip, and then I showed the receipt before giving me three tickets. When I arrived on the ship, I was asked to pay for the other two people. It took a while to confirm. I feel that the klook booking service needs to be strengthened, and I suggest that everyone prepare a receipt to provide.
Nice and impressive tour. The instructors are professional and patience. Clear instructions provided. Facilities are clean and well supplied. The view is good.
Highly recommended! There are many friendly staff members on board who are readily available to help with any issues. Booking through Klook is very convenient; you can go directly to the counter to check in and get your tickets before boarding. I chose the 2-certified dives, which included a dive guide. I was lucky to have great dive buddies and a dive guide who constantly checked on everyone, making me feel very safe. The equipment provided was of good quality and not worn out. The only downside was that both dives were at the same entry point, and the food provided on board was cold. It would be better if hot food was offered. The round trip is quite long, so there wasn't time to snorkel or visit the underwater observatory before heading back. As for the underwater scenery, the coral has high diversity, but as it's a tourist area, there is a certain degree of bleaching.
Overall experience with Cruise Whitsunday is pretty good, except the lunch served on the cruise is a bit disappointing compare to other cruises I had in Great Barrier Reef.
Highly recommended! There are plenty of staff members on board, so help is always readily available. I chose the two-certified-dive option, which included a dive guide. The guide constantly checked on everyone in the group, which was very reassuring. The equipment provided was also excellent – not old or damaged. The only minor drawbacks were that both dives were at the same entry point, and the food provided on board was all cold dishes. It would have been better if hot food was offered. Also, because of the distance, with two scuba dives and lunch, there wasn't enough time to go snorkeling or visit the underwater observatory. As for the underwater scenery, there was a high diversity of coral, but being a tourist area, there was also a certain degree of coral bleaching.
Love the snorkel tour, it was a fantastic opportunity to get close up with nature and learn about them in their habitat. Our tour guide Carlos was informative and wonderful and knows how to have a good time. The boat trip was eventful and the cruise was just great, would definitely come back for the Whitehaven cruise next.
It takes about one and a half hours to reach the event place by boat. There is no time limit for superficial activities. There are also lunches and afternoon tea on board. There is also a service for renting waterproof cameras on board, 68 Australian dollars. At the end it will take you directly to the memory card. The deep dive part is also great, there are coaches holding hands with you, haha. I took a lot of beautiful photos.
