Penghu Island Hopping: Dongji & Blue Cave

This is now directly on my top list for island hopping and water activities in Penghu. Experience: Perfect. Coach: Humorous, engaging, professional, and attentive. They will definitely meet all your needs during the activity, as long as it's within their capabilities!

One of the highlights of our Penghu trip. Onboarding process was well coordinated, starting with friendly reminder messages from the staff, and the staff took the effort to check for any special considerations from us. Visited a couple of sea caves for photo points, then proceeded to Dongji island where most of the visitors got to scooter around the island. Having no motorbike licence, we were pleasantly surprised they got us a driver+buggy taking us around the scenic points on the island. We then proceeded to Jiangjun Ao island where tasty seafood porridge was served for lunch. Snorkeling gear and use instructions were provided. The afternoon was spent on water activities, snorkeling, jetski and SUP, the staff made sure to take care of safety and comfort level before engaging us on all activities. Ended with baked chicken meal. Very approachable staff, good level of upbeat interaction. Kudos to Xiao Jie, Xiao Lai, Hao hao, Da xiong & all the backend staff who just made this memorable.

Today's coach, Xiao Jie, explained everything very thoroughly. He constantly checked on us during snorkeling, SUP, and other activities. It's a shame we couldn't go to Dongji and the Blue Cave for photos today, but going to Wang'an Island was also a lot of fun. The scenery was beautiful and very relaxing. We really had a great time today. Coach Hao Hao made us feel very safe while riding the jet skis and wakeboarding. The captain was very friendly; he even got in the water to help us find more to see while snorkeling. Lunch on Jiangjunyu Island was very plentiful, and there was even afternoon tea after the activities. We felt completely taken care of throughout the entire day. This is a wonderful company and coaching team, and we will definitely come back if we have the chance. We'll be sure to request Feather Love!

Fantastic! This is my third visit this year. Each time, I arrange different dive sites, and each dive offers a unique experience. Before the afternoon's itinerary concludes, there's delicious roasted chicken and abalone scallops. Coupled with the enthusiastic service from all the Yu-Zhi-Lian staff, this tour is just plain fun and offers exceptional value. I'll definitely be back again.

The itinerary was perfectly arranged, and the experience was absolutely fantastic. A full day of island hopping was incredibly enjoyable. The first half of the day focused on island activities, while the second half was dedicated to water activities. Meals and afternoon tea were also provided, and the food was delicious! Every instructor was excellent and professional, maintaining a sense of humor while constantly monitoring everyone's well-being. We had a truly wonderful time!

Ah Jie expertly shares his knowledge of Penghu, and the combination of him and Hao Hao leading the tour is simply amazing. I thought the gout-friendly meal was just a nice-sounding name, but it turned out to be incredibly abundant. At the same time, they pay great attention to marine ecological conservation, and the snorkeling process is meticulous. This trip was truly worth every penny!

Before joining this tour, I saw the previous reviews and went from doubtful to convinced. I can only say it was super fun! The instructor humorously explains the surrounding scenery on the boat. When visiting the Blue Cave and Lobster Cave, unlike other boats that can only view them from a distance, our boat gets super close, allowing us to appreciate the beauty of the Blue Cave up close. The instructors also diligently take photos for each group, whether snorkeling or doing water activities. The afternoon water activities were fantastic; you simply don't have time to be bored. There's gull feeding, SUP, jet skiing, the water carpet, double snorkeling, etc. Especially the snorkeling, Yu Zhi Lian really prepares brand new mouthpieces and socks (to prevent scratches). The secret purple staghorn coral is stunning. It would be a pity to go to Penghu and not see it! For someone like me who's not good in the water, instructor Xiao Jie was very patient in guiding me and carefully explaining the underwater scenery. At the same time, the instructors were also very tolerant of the two children's mischief, willing to let them repeat water activities and have a blast! During this time, they provide unlimited ice-cold drinks and biscuits. The instructors also catch sea urchins and small abalone for the group members to taste. They have no fishy smell at all, and the sweet taste of the sea is unforgettable. Finally, we snorkel one last time to end the water activities. Back on Jiangjun Island, delicious roasted chicken awaits us. Thanks to Yu Zhi Lian for leaving us with a wonderful Penghu memory. If you are still considering which island hopping tour to join, I sincerely recommend this tour (this is not an advertisement or a shill post). It's extremely fun!

You can enjoy a full day of activities, including a boat tour with stunning views, a scooter ride around the island, snorkeling at two different spots, jet skiing, and kayaking – there's never a dull moment. The snorkeling spots have crystal-clear water and tons of coral. The guide was enthusiastic about explaining the marine life, and there was everything from sea turtles to starfish to sea urchins. Plus, the guide was incredibly passionate and friendly, making the whole trip so much fun. Finally, the seafood porridge we had for lunch, the chicken dish after the tour, and the snacks in between like refreshing drinks and cookies were all perfect!

The instructors are professional and provide in-depth explanations. The food was great, and we had a lot of fun. I want to come back to Penghu and do it again! Highly recommended!
